Tuesday - Widow’s Mite - Luke 2:1-4, Michelle House shares the story with us and Jesus' important lesson. A coin purse craft is today's project. Here are the supplies and directions below for the craft:
Supplies needed:
Two paper plates, yarn, hole punch, tape, crayons
1. Measure 2.5” inches down from the top center of the paper plate and fold the top down from that point.
2. On the second paper plate, measure 5” inches down from the top center of the plate, fold the top down and then cut that part off.
3. Punch holes all the way around both paper plates.
4. Cut string or yarn into long lengths, at least three feet. Wind tape around the ends of the strings to keep it from fraying.
5. Place your plates on top of each other, with the uncut on in the back.
6. Thread your string through holes to stitch your purse together. Tie the string off at both top holes.
7. Optional you can use more yarn or a pipe cleaner to make a handle.
8. Decorate your coin purse any way your like
