@@cdtnplyr To sell merch... Edge hated the Rated R superstar belt and fans pretended to hate the spinner belt but those things made the company a lot of money from those replica belts. This will do the same.
Solo and Roman technically being “Smackdown guys” is a non-issue because WWE is loosening the brand split from now until Wrestlemania, and presumably the next draft will happen after that. It’s also possible they’ll move all the Bloodline stuff over to Raw once it’s on Netflix, they’re already laying the groundwork with Drew McIntyre’s new crusade against Roman and everyone who helped him at WarGames (which includes “Raw guys” Jey Uso, Sami Zayn and CM Punk) and the tease of him aligning with the New Bloodline. Keep in mind the whole reason the Bloodline stuff has primarily been playing out on Smackdown is it was airing on terrestrial broadcast TV, which automatically made it the A-show because Fox reaches millions more eyeballs than any cable network. Netflix reaches billions of eyeballs around the world, so naturally it’ll become home to WWE’s biggest storylines.
One reason I can think of to have Roman and Solo on last is that Smackdown is going to be on Netflix in some countries, so it makes sense Netflix and WWE would want to advertise it without actually advertising it which would confuse American viewers and maybe piss off FOX.
Tribal chief championship is such a joke. 😂 If they want to do something dumb like this, make it the "Jewellery Championship", or to give it the full name "The Crown Jewellery Championship". An elimination style tournament where each year Solo & Reigns fight for a necklace, Punk & Drew fight for a bracelet, Cody & Rock fight for a ring, then the three winners go to Saudi, place the winning item in a cup, which the eventual winner lifts at crown jewel in the main event. 🏆
Ooh. AEW on Max? I do hope they will be streaming their PPVs on Max as well. I have Peacock and Netflix free from Xfinity and Max because I have HBO, I want to be able to have ALL the PPVs for $0 extra cost.
The Winged Eagle isn't an actual defendable Championship. It's Cody's wet dream which is currently Kevin's wet dream, likely to be won by Cody at the next SNME to go with his big golden belt. I doubt it will still be on TV come Mania. The People's Championship is really taking up a lot of air time isn't it. We see the thing about 75 times a show! ...wait Tribal Championship or whatever it might be called I don't think would be a long term thing. At most I see it Mania 41 to Mania 42 as mostly a decorative piece for either Roman or Solo. If Roman has it we'll see it 12 times a year anyway.
A Tribal Championship is a lame idea. The Ula Fala IS the Tribal Championship period. 2:01 = Nah, aew STILL has the most unnecessary number of title belts. Not surprised that Roman vs Solo is closing out Raw's Netflix debut. Roman fighting to regain his status as the Only Tribal Chief is the biggest story in WWE right now. They oughta just move the entire WWE Archives over to the WWE Vault YT Channel. As a Max subscriber, I have very little interest in checking out aew on the service unless it's watching a Kenny Omega, Daniel Bryan or Will Osperay match. What is it with Tony Khan booking & announcing matches at the last minute? Great to hear that Wes Lee is okay.
While I agree that Roman vs Bloodline 2.0 is the hottest feud right now, I think you're going to see Roman vs Solo on Netflix as sort of a blowoff with a massive storyline pivot from Roman vs Bloodline 2.0 to Roman vs. some combination of Punk, Drew, Seth and/or KO as the lead angle in 2025. Perhaps you get Jacob Fatu making a singles run for IC or US title (didn't Bloodline do a run-in during an IC title match a few months ago, or am I misremembering?) and another potential tag title chase by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa but with that loose connection between BL 2.0. As great and intriguing as the current Bloodline story arc has been, I'm thinking it's time to pivot after four years (and for that storyline to have as much staying power as it has had - four years, if I'm not mistaken - speaks volumes to how WWE Creative has booked this angle).
I dont know about you guys in the UK, but i do know that internationally (or at least here in Australia) All wwe television will be on netflix. Having Reigns v Sikoa as the main event could be a play to boost international numbers possibly? Not to mention if the Rock makes an appearance there's no way that wont be the last segment
yeah the ROH card came together late but that's kind of how they do things in general. Feels like AEW PPVs are also put together late with pre show matches announced day in some cases. I assume (at least most) decisions aren't made that short term but just announced? I don't know
I'd prefer if they kept it the ulafala. It has meaning already, I assume it comes from samoan tradition and culture. I never looked it up but it can and should be that. There are so many belts, this is better.
Just the idea of a Tribal Chief Championship is quite possibly the dumbest idea of the Paul Levesque era. They got that stupid Ula Fala, they don’t need a belt that only 2 or 3 people could possibly ever compete for. I really hope enough people behind the scenes push back on this…cuz this is some Vince level 💩
a company wanting you to go watch their other show in a tv network hmmm that's very odd. Why would also netflix care? if WWE is strong then that would mean people will go tune in to Raw on netflix as well.
While I would be up for one more title in WWE just not that one' there is no way they are making that type of title just for the bloodline storyline, someone up there has clearly lost the plot (maybe its the rock himself?) but regardless of who came up with that idea it is just dumb. If there needs to be one more title of something then make a 3rd and final singles title for the women across all three brands' there are a few to choose from such as a Women's Light Heavyweight title, Women's Canadian title, Women's European title or some other new kind of Women's title? Might as well throw down at least one for the women on NXT' let them have a Women's NXT Pure title or something similar to it, I've always been partial to the idea of their version of the pure title being called a Women's NXT Heart & Soul title with similar rules. But if they decide to do that at some point in the future then use it to replace both the men & women's speed titles.
At this point split Cody’s belt back into the WWE and Universal Titles. That way they can have a 3rd major title that can float around as needed. Idk just don’t make a new belt for no reason
What about bring the spinner back and just let Cena carry that bad boy around for a whole year? Give punk a sobriety belt. Give Drew a belt of the Scottish flag. EVERYONE IS A WINNER🎉🎉
*“Here is your winner, and Tribal Chief champion…”* What a dogshit decision. The thing that you’ve told us was passed down from generation to generation to represent the head of the family isn’t good enough. Let’s introduce a new belt that will never be defended and nobody wants-and then have Roman fight the Rock at Mania and become *The People’s Double Tribal Chief Champion.*
Ohh no please not another stupid championship its like AEW too many championships which will be confusing and annoying. Just stick to the real tribal chief would be fine thanks lol.
Could a tribal championship work like a faction championship or a trios type championship where the holder would need to have at least 2 members or more behind/with them. We could see the Wyatts, American Made, or Judgment Day fight for it while making use of some lingering backstage talent...maybe?
Further proof marry any1 to get ahead H is only a slightly better booker than TK i.m a fan of all wrestling but i prefer AEW action to WWE stories but honestly both companies need to change AEW has good action but needs to work on stories & character development & WWE needs to ditch the done for decades WWE pg playbook & find a better balance of wrestling & soap opera they also need to clean house stop hiring & rehiring horrible people & change there horrible buisness practices on & off camera. Here's hoping both AEW & WWE will level up in 2025 Have a nice day wrestling fans 👍
The Ula Fala is the tribal chief championship. That’s all they need
Couldn’t have said it better. Why over complicate it with a belt?
@ exactly. The entire story is Afa and sika gave it to Roman, solo stole it and now Roman wants it back. Keep it simple
@@cdtnplyr To sell merch... Edge hated the Rated R superstar belt and fans pretended to hate the spinner belt but those things made the company a lot of money from those replica belts. This will do the same.
THIS 👍👍👍👍👍
Because that’s just what we need, another damn championship.
It's the only way for our infamous chef to be single champ now
The Ula Fala already served has the tribal chief championship
The CM Punk fan bracelet belt is gonna be next.

They already have the ulafala... Tribal chief championship sounds stupid af
I’m so ready for the bloodline story to end
Hope you packed a lunch cause it's the
Neverending
*STOOOOR-or-REEEEEEEEEEEEE*
AHHHHHHHHHH
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

At this point the bloodline is big enough to have its own third show.
If they added sitcom skits between matches, I'd watch that.
The Bloodline generally have really good comedic timing.
I still feel like Roman vs Solo should open. The Rock should appear within the first hour. That would hook in new viewers.
Solo ☝🏽 Also AEW on Max means we can actually see the true 4 pillars: Sonny Kiss, Joey Janela, Marko Stunt, and Riho
The Oofa Loofa Title
3:25 has Tom forgotten about the Transfer Window?
It would be like both Vince move to have this new lame championship lol
So if a random person outside of the bloodline wins the title does that make them the tribal chief?
Omos for Tribal Chief Champion

I think that the tribal chief championship concept is only due to the fact that all the belts are very branded, and an ula fala is not very branded.
Tribal chief championship is such a joke. 😂

The Bloodline doesn't need a "belt" even if THAT storyline needed The Rock who has his own "belt" thank to Muhammad Ali's family!
Tom, Andrew, whether it’s the start, middle or end of term, don’t ever stop being silly. It makes these videos worthwhile
They have the Ula Fala. An added champion belt cheapens it.
Ooh. AEW on Max? I do hope they will be streaming their PPVs on Max as well. I have Peacock and Netflix free from Xfinity and Max because I have HBO, I want to be able to have ALL the PPVs for $0 extra cost.

Are WWE introducing a tribal chief championship? No. Next story.
Netflix have the steaming rights to SmackDown outside of the USA. So them advertising and promoting SmackDown stars is still a win for them.
Bad idea but at the end of the day they can make more money selling belt replicas

The ula fala already services the purpose perfectly
You don’t need a title you got the Ofalafa
I was looking forward to finally having another non-Roman Rock's family main event.
But for some reason, they got it again 😢
The only way this could work is if this is more for a faction like how aew has trios title
The Bloodline is a soap opera at this point
Thanks 🎉
making the ula fala into a belt would be one way to anglicize it and make it worth less then what it was
... go to your room
I don’t get it
Chase U should win the Tribal Chief Championship
Just have the ulafala be the prize like the heritage cup
He has a belt! HE has a belt! I have a belt! Are there any more belts I should know about!?
Oh bringing back the Brahma Bull Belt ?
The one thing wrong in wrestling is there's not enough championships
They can sell a Bloodline championship and can't/shouldn't sell an 'ulafala.
They are about to jump the shark 😂😂
Edit: last minute ROH booking? This is unprecedented 😮😱🙃🙃
I'd prefer if they kept it the ulafala. It has meaning already, I assume it comes from samoan tradition and culture. I never looked it up but it can and should be that. There are so many belts, this is better.
All this over a necklace made of chili peppers! 😅
20 bucks it’s just gonna be a rebrand of the RAW universal title
The second they put a new belt into the bloodline story is the second I ditch WWE.

??? How is today or 1 week from today only 3 days away?
I think you meant Monday
You can't license and sell the oulafala...not sure how that's spelled
It’s not this monday?
a company wanting you to go watch their other show in a tv network hmmm that's very odd. Why would also netflix care? if WWE is strong then that would mean people will go tune in to Raw on netflix as well.
I don't think January 6th is this Monday
The “too many belts” community been getting they ASS beat by Papa H, good lord 😂🤦🏾♂️
Belt can be sold Ula Fala not so much.
It’s for wwe shop
If there's such thing as a Tribal Chief championship, the final boss is holding it currently

Does this mean that AEW will have their PPV's on Max so we dont pay $50. all the dang time. Cause that sux

But... the ufalaffa?? Yeah

Ok, if we're gonna give AEW guff for having to much hardware (which they do) we should call WWE for having the same problem. 🙄
thye dont need a bloody belt the FALA is it ffs
Aew just copy and paste WWE 😂 still won’t bring numbers in
WWE invented streaming wrestling now?? Lol and AEW already bring in numbers. Cope harder

WWE already has more championships than AEW though lol
@richgames2377 which is ridiculous tbh lol. When I used to watch AEW it felt like they were handing championships like leaflets lol.
Tribal Combat just need the Rock popping in at the end of the match to say "finish him"
Are new episodes of AEW appearing as they air on Max. If not this is a worthless deal and Max got screwed if they paid more than $200 for it.
They've already explained that lol.
