Hey there, after two months of not making any Daryl Dixon edits I’m finally back. Now you probably wouldn’t expect me to use this song, since this is completely different from anything I usually do, but I really liked the song and it thought it would be interesting to use for a little The Walking Dead tribute. I did edit the song somewhat, since I prefer total silence over 1 word being said, that way I can make the cuts to black more meaningful. Other than that it’s completely the same.
This video contains a few scenes from the season 10 premiere. The episode came out 1 week prior for people with the AMC subscription thingy… So yeah, the scenes don’t really contain major spoilers so you don’t have to be afraid of that. I also already made the majority of the tribute before I saw the episode, so there wasn’t much room. Nevertheless I thought the few scenes were pretty funny to add.
The season 10 premiere was in my opinion alright. I appreciate that they are trying more with the new locations and that they are trying to do more interesting things with the camera. The cinematography is certainly something I liked about the episode. Other than that the episode was pretty standard and not a whole lot happened. You can compare it to season 9 episode 1 if you want.

Good gracious, ignatius. We actually were able to hit the 10k subs mark! I'm so proud of this community right now. But this is but a mere victory in the wars to come! We are not done, no sir! He fell apart when the prison fell. He'd allowed himself to believe in what they were doing there. He was grieving during still & Beth helped him through it. She was grieving too. When he lost her as well, he lost the last bit of hope and the home she represented. He was broken and only found a purpose again when he got back together with Rick, Michonne & Carl. He was ready to die for them. He didn't have anything left worth living for. He's been low - level like that ever since really. He tries not to be reactive anymore because it's cost lives in the past, as far as he's concerned anyway (Glenn) and he now lives for the people he cares about and the chance of being useful to them and not much else. Until, maybe Connie.
Bɪᴘ •-• I’m not really sure I would call Carol his mother. It’s definitely platonic though. I just feel like Carol is naturally motherly to people she cares about. She did mother Daryl on and off but I feel like they are platonic soulmates more than anything else, if that makes sense.
I loved Daryl and Beth's relationship. This is honestly such a perfect song for him.
