Stella, after flying for 17 years, I can STILL tell you that it was always trips like the one you were on here that remain in my mind STILL TODAY! Whenever you're on a horrible trip, or feel like quitting your job flying, just remember the trips like these. They totally are why we all became Flight Attendants to begin with. You'll always remember these crazy stories and run into these same co-workers 10 years from now on some international trip and be like, "Remember that one trip in Vail where we tried on fur coats, and the lady who worked there was such a hoot?". Good times!

Life as a flight attendant looks so fun because you get to go to so many different places and everyday is unpredictable. It's not like a boring 9-5 job
Jesus, everyone complaining about the fur on this flick , I am sure shop at Walmart, Target and H/M where the majority of clothes are made in sweat shops.....guess you all live in glass houses...let it go...
Vail Colorado is expensive town to live in .....it's more like a ski tourist resort....

Omg everyone with the fur comments must be 1,000% Vegan. I'm not a meat eater but I respect everyone and what they like and believe in. I've never judged anyone for what they do or say. Vail is awesome! We vacation there occasionally. Tons of Europeans vacation there so it's fun strolling around hearing all of the different languages.
The best "non-skiing" activity is the tubing. You have to take the free bus over to Lionshead Village (10 mins max), then take the gondola up to the top (the top of the gondola is not the same as the top of the mountain). Then you take a brief motorized ride over to where the tubing is. It used to be $50/hr, but it might be more now. The tubing is crazy fast....so fun!
BTW...bowling there during high season is about $100!
I miss flying, most fun I ever had on layovers. This vlog made me reminisce! Love the black wool coat and hahaaa that lady in the fur coat shop was hilarious!!!!
Between veal and bejazzled, I just can't right now! You are so funny! Haha! I'm glad your trip ended up being so much fun! What a great memory! Just FYI, veal is baby cow meat. Usually male dairy cows since they can't grow up to be milked and they might not be good enough stock to grow up to be a bull that you would want to breed the cows with.:)

how exciting you flew to Vail...I lived there for 3 years...Thifty is best kept secrete, they usually will negotiate prices and go lower for locals... huge smile on my face when i saw this post... all the buses in Vail are free

I cannot believe there is NO SNOW on the ground in Vail in January. I went to university in Colorado and used to ski there all the time. You were tired because of the altitude, over 8,000 feet at Vail Village!
It’s surprising to see the lack of snow in Colorado. We have more snow that in WV. What a fun time the two of you had! So nice that you were in a hotel that had complimentary breakfast especially with the extended layover. Your coat will be right at home in NYC. Wonder if the coats ended up in the consignment shop since Vail wasn’t the right home for them.
Nancy Kellum I've heard that many traditional ski locations were light or without much snow this year. Some years are worse than others I guess?

How was the veal in Vale? Be even funnier if you said meal instead of male LOL. Your coat was the perfect length for winter. Maybe just pack a larger suitcase with clothes you think you'll be wearing, and clothes you'll actually be wearing and a set of pj's
glad you got to spend an extra day in Vale!!! I always love it when you take us on your flights and stopovers!! I come to Orlando this year for a holiday so if you ever end up there or at Atlanta airport I hope you do a little vlog from those two airports. On the way home I have to fly to Atlanta to then get home!

UZUN SACLI KEL ADAM [USKA] Do you mean how do cabin crew earn money? The truth is time. You are very underpaid. You have to watch your spending........after you gain seniority you will make a much better salary. But even then when I was a FA I knew many FA’s that had a second job. But the tradeoff is worth it.
