- For those who has asked what happens when they have sunk, there are floats on board that deploy and allow us to pull the boats up from the depths

I like the RC Liberty Ship
Now those are the money shots when it comes to RC boats! That was a nice group of ship sinkings, some kind of timer system should be developed to let 5 or so minutes to pass before the pop-up floats employ as to stress the impact of the loss. Most importantly, all ships seemed to sink in water deep enough as to clear the surface of the pond before touching the bottom thus avoiding that "laying back down to sleep" move that happens in shallow areas.
Here in Oz, dams like the ones we use or normally 6 - 12 feet deep to keep down the amount of water lost to evaporation.We have a hard enough time getting floats to deploy reliably that we don't want to add more complexityAs it is, the boats are normally on the bottom for 10 - 30 minutes (till the end of that 'battle' segment)

Add some baffles inside the models like an ice cube tray or similar design to slow the listing.
The momentum of the filling water seems to pull the vessel down in a predictable manner most of the time.
I would like to see this tried again but with baffling or bulkheads added.. thumbs up!!!!

They battle the boats using boat mounted airsoft cannons. When on sinks, they retrieve it, drain it, patch it up, and sail again in 15 minutes.
They build them and fix them. Also they use floats or dive after them
