I never see these scooters anymore, back in the early 80s I started working on them in San Francisco in someone's garage. I really liked the way lambrettas we're made, but at the time parts in the US just didn't exist, we finally were getting parts from england. Good old times, can't believe that was nearly 40 years ago now!
As a classic motorcycle owner this looks good. No Ebay comedy mod bling and classic geared to boot which appears to be becoming a rarity as most I see are dressed up Royal Alloys. Big like from me.
It LOOKS MARVELOUS, and I wouldn’t BLING it up any more than what you’ve done so far, but that is just me thinking out loud. Did you do anything additional to the Pinup appliqué?
Thanks chap - I like the “cut of your jib” I am a German WW2 military vehicle man and have quite a collection. But having been a scooter boy 1966 - 1971 I have acquired a 1974 Series 3 LI 125 Special and with your help taken it to 179 on electronic ignition and am loving my misspent youth! Keep it going geezer and keep inspiring us 70 yr old young un’s👍👍
Congratulations on a brilliant build, what a wonderful sound! A huge thumbs up!
