this man has the greatest video ever he makes everything simple 2/20/2021
This is a great video, but I wouldn't use tongue and groove pliers to push down the piston. You should use the old brake pad over the top of the piston so that you have even pressure against the piston. Either way, 1A makes some excellent repair videos.
This is a very informative video and done very professionally. Thank you very much for such a great job.❤
I followed your video on replacing the drive shaft and it worked perfectly. But my only question on this is what do I do if I have to replace the calipers too?
Great video! Detailed, informative, clear, and concise. Great job.
I bought pads and rotors from A1 and follower this video. Everything worked out well however, I'm noticing a squeak. I cleaned and greased all sliding parts well. can you offer any advice.
Awesome video... this will be 1st brake change. You made it look easy... thanks
Great video .very informative .well explained .👍
Just bought the rotors and the brakes pads from you guys for front and rear , for this exact same Cadillac . My brakes are squeaking and it’s so annoying , any reasons why ?

After watching your informative video I am thinking of doing my own. I have ABS and AWD . Does this change anything I saw in video?
+Rick Ricnado Thank you for checking us out. Having ABS and AWD should not change any steps you have to take in comparison to the video. 1aauto.com
@@1AAuto I have an 07 v6 cts. how do i know if i have JL9 or JE5 brakes
+O Dogg You can locate this information with your VIN number either in an online VIN decoder or by calling your dealer with the number.
What if you do not have a torque wrench to confirm 96 ft lbs for the reattach of the carrier bracket? What can you use if you do not have a T30 driver also to secure the rotor on the hub? Is there an alternate tool?
Great video. Thanks for sharing!
+Victor Johnson Thank you for the great reply. We love to empower our customers by showing you how-to perform your own auto repairs while installing our high quality auto parts. Have a great day! 1aauto.com
Are the backs of both pads greased ? The video only shows one
Anybody else notice that he went from jack stands to a lift?
Great video! Who can I speak with about ordering a brake kit for my 2004 Cadillac CTS

I noticed you never opened up the hood and removed the lid to the brake fluid reservoir. I've done a grip of breaks for friends and family as well as myself, GM, honda, nissan, toyota, dodge. I'm not sure if the cts is the same as deville and escalade but I currently am about to undergo a full break system upgrade on my caddy (2008 STS 4.6) and I'm curious on the steps need taken to safely and properly run this project. Please let me know, thanks in advance. Oh yeah, the rotors are vented, drilled and slotted. The pads are ceramic and my wheels are 20" with 255/35r20 tires
+jsierras81 Thank you for checking us out. You may remove the cap to the brake reservoir. We apologize that this was not noted or available in our video. 1aauto.com
Does this mean the cap must be taken off or is it an option ? Thank you
Why you don't clean the rotor after you spray?
2007 cadi escalate brake pads
Doesn't look like the the E-Break was on for this. You should also mention not to ever put ANY amount of grease on the pads or rotor.
+Brittney Bryant Thanks for the feedback!
Price me brakes and rotor for 99 Chevy suburban plz
+Nehemaih Lawyer We would be happy to! The price is anywhere from $136.95-154.95 depending on which type of pads and rotors you pick for the front. Thank you!
Skip to @2:30 to skip him taking off the wheel

+Bj We wouldn't be able to diagnose an issue like that here, you may want to have a local mechanic take a look at it. Thanks for checking us out! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
