That scope is over $8,000. You might fine 1 of your subscribers that could afford it. I attended their webinar a few days ago and I thought then; wow what a useful device! Than afterwards I went to their website and thought, well that was a waste of an hour. I'm not jealous, in fact I couldn't see me having a use for it even if I had millions. It's more a technicians interrogation tool. Thanks for sharing though.
Videos like this make me sad 😂 it’s a good scope ! But I don’t think I will ever be able to afford something like this in my lifetime ! , key-sight should make a budget friendly version !
Hi, I have seen today at my pawn shop, oscilloscope rigol mso 8204. Is listed at 3000 eur no defects calibrated I have tested it. I want to know if is a good deal cinsidering is expensive. What should I test more? Thanks! LE: I negotiated it at 2500 eur. I need an answer as sound too good to be true.
if you have tested it and all works without any problem and all the parameters are in spec + you don't mind the 8bit ADC then yea it's probably a good deal
Super video, thanks! I have a cheap scope and I always find it super helpful, even for simply measuring noise or viltages of USB power supplies. I'll have to go back and watch your ESC videos
That is a rough spot budget wise because, what do you get extra at 700 that you don’t get at 400-500? What does the rigol DHO804 Not have that 1000 bucks can get you?
13:40 "... I know its capacitance, it's 1uF. Basically, I have 2 in parallel ... but anyway. It's 1uF." Nope ... c1||c2 = c1+c2, ergo you have 2uF, not 1uF. Nice scope by the way ... bit out of my price range though.
This is the kind of videos which will reboost your channel. Including short sections for different price levels serves larger audience. Like a 400 USD scope and a cheapass 12 USS DSO138.

@VandalIO series 1000 feom keysight starts at around 400$. Is the first scope I had and works quite well.
Can you teach us to use rasonanance frequency to make a radio and make something like waki taki
Outstanding video, thank you for taking the time to put this together and share it. So much valuable information!
Nice new scope ! Thats a good size to show on TH-cam !

Okay, I'm getting one
Killer-scope you've got there!
I'm looking for a scope at around ~ 700-1000$.
The Siglent SDS800X HD and SDS1000X HD are excellent oscilloscopes for their price.
Yeah, I'm leaning towards Siglent 👍
@Rick-hq5yg good recommendation :)

@@newsogn5148logic analyzers, afg, and 250mhz bandwidth i guess
i was hoping to see the HD3 in action
but its ok
i will watch it in action in future video
What would you like to see? :) For sure it will appear in my future projects...
This is a brilliant video. More of these type of videos will be great and attract lots of views I’m sure. 👌👌👌

@TH-camBorkedMyOldHandle_why the capacitance was around 1uF in total. Those are not 1uF are 470nF.
@@ELECTRONOOBS Okay ... good.
Hey bro nice video can you make video on line follower robot using PID
nice scope only $7000
Yes,4 minimum wages,without eating😂😂
The HD3 is not for begginer use unfortunately. I know not everyone could afford one, you should start with series 1000 starting at around 400$.
$7000 - try $22,000 US - its not the base version, its the 1GHz version.
Make u guide for rpi pico w based dso as hardware per apects
As a maker once you have a scope you kinda wonder how you ever made anything before you had one…
Bruhh...
Bro got a 12 bit 1ghz adc!
Even logic analysers don't go that high.
Can it log that data for a long period of time?
