Atsumu's passion and love for his position and volleyball always touched me so much 😭 The way i understand how osamu feels too when he said "I'm more frustrated that I'm not frustrated" kinda hinting that osamu simply is not that passionate enough (or as much as atsumu) for volleyball to get frustrated that he didn't get picked for the All-Japan.
I love how Ukai claps for Atsumu after that set; as a setter himself, he knows exactly how difficult that set is, especially under such a tense situation. Even though that's such a small moment in the episode, it stood out to me as an important message from Furudate to the reader and the anime to the viewer. We can hope all we want for Karasuno to win, but that doesn't mean we can't praise excellence in the opponent's game. I like how you made the connection between Atsumu's passion and that set; doing everything he can to get the best set to his hitters is a great example of that passion in action.
The name of the Noya Kinnoshita chapter was "The guardians hero," I think that was meant to mean Kinnoshita as he pushed Noya with his floaters in practice + in the game when Noya was scared and reverting back to just doing underhands. I think changing the name also makes the chapter about Osamu being Atsumu's hero for pushing him. Extrapolating from both of you said, I think this episode lets us Imagine where hina/kags would've been if they hadn't met 6 months earlier. Hinata didn't have a team until 6 months ago.
The Chapter in the manga is called the Guardian Deity's Hero because even if Kinoshita doesn't become Karasuno's hero when it's his turn to serve, All the practice he's done partnering with Nishinoya with his float serve has turned into practice for Nishinoya's Overhand weakness😭😭
I love the twins back story so much🥰 the constant little digs and fighting until you do something together is some of the best sibling energy I’ve seen in sports animes. Usually siblings are too dramatic in my opinion in these shows but you can tell the Miya twins were written by someone with siblings 😂
Kinoshita didn’t realize that he already did something, if not today then before and his Hero moments weren’t limited to happening in some epic way on the court. But just buy being a good friend. Investing the time, enabled Noya and karasuno to a win. He DID contribute. He does have a part. And in his own way. He IS a HERO!!
Being a pinch server is definitely tough. You gotta be ready to play at any moment & your job is to change the flow of the game &/or come in clutch. Pressure literally comes with the job
FIRST!! Edit: I forgot how many amazing flashbacks there were in this episode!!! I'm so happy that I'm rewatching this with you guys because now I can remember!! HERO is the title of the episode, and even though Kinnoshita (Hisashi) couldn't manage to have an epic moment on court like Yama did in Season 2, he was the real hero because Noya needed help desperately, and he gave it!! Noya was the hero of that play, because he finally managed to receive that monstrous serve that's been targeting and bringing him down the past set, but Kinnoshita was the hero off-court because Noya was only able to move up properly and overcome his fear because of his encouragement from the bench. Their friendship - or just the second-years being buddies in general - makes me so happy and bubbly on the inside. It's so amazing to know how the flashback helps and how Kinnoshia offered help without really knowing that he's just done the best thing he could have off the court. And then Noya pointing at him after that to say that "That play worked because of you" I cried a little inside. PLS, the Miya Twins are hilarious even when they're fighting, and Suna was such a little shit for taking his phone out to film and take pictures instead of helping to separate the brothers like a good friend HAHHAHAH. The twins really do have a similar dynamic to Kags and Hinata, I love these two pairs of sibling-like connections. I'm just so excited for the rest of the manga to be adapted into anime. I have a feeling that we'll be seeing quite a lot of glow-ups (ahem, surprises are to be expected) and also a fair amount of glow-downs (I'm joking, I'll still love them no matter what they look like HAHAHA). Thanks for the reaction today!! I can't wait for tomorrow's video (it's like, near midnight in Asia rn LOL)

He maybe not a Main hero in that moment but he the one who support the hero that make the moment.
