My wine fridge was not working, I called a appliance service and they would charge me 450 bucks, however they said that it would better I scrapped mine and buy a new one, so searching in TH-cam I found your video. I bought the relay, changed and my fridge is back working. Amazing, even a appliance service was not willing to repair. Such a shame.

Not only did is cheaply solution fix a near $400 wine cooler, but it saved me the hassle and costs of disposal and repurchasing. It's almost criminal to have thrown out this wine cooler, as was recommended from several repair shops because in their estimate, the repair costs would have exceeded the value of the unit. I'm gonna give it a try. I have a new cooler that sit for a while till I had the house done. Finally opened it plugged in. Lights up. But I don't hear any noise that is turning on compressor or cooling. I can't return it or replace it since it sit months, will give a try to this fix hopefully will work. Don't wanna trash $700.

I just took it apart to look t the relays, they were slightly different and there are two of them. but after looking at them to get the part numbers I put it back together and just for the hell of it I plugged it back in. what do you know it started working. may be the relay was stuck. anyways thanks for the video, you saved me hundreds of dollars. I wish I could have seen in where the pins are to get a better idea of how to push the relay in on those two pins on the compressor. I bought both the relay and the overload parts and took both off and I have them wired, but can't see how the overload part goes on before the relay goes on the other two pins.

The information in this video is good for most wine fridges with compressors. However, I believe the unit you referenced is thermoelectric. I did a quick search online and I didn't see much. The best way to try to fix this model may be to go exploring inside of the unit and retrieve a model number that you can search for online. Hey quick question I have a dual zone fridge as well and one side is the wine fridge the other is for cans, the can side of the fridge does not cook passed 52 degrees but I can set the thermostat to 36 degrees it just never gets to that temperature any thoughts?

I bought a new one from Amazon and it arrived on its side. I unboxed it and plugged it in the light came on and it started running and got cold so now its not cooling very good anymore. Could it be that unit you’re talking about. or should
Pickws up a wine cellar from a guy that claimed it was broken. Unfortunately the only thing broken was his understanding that it is a cellar not a fridge. I was confused i mist admit when o opened it up and found no compressor but 2 fans and a heat sink. In the manual it even says this is not a fridge and how it uses ambient temperature to help regulate the internal temperature for your wine. Hotter the room less lower temp the colder the room the colder temp you can reach. It will work properly in the garage.. im sure this gu had it in the basement on carpet due to all the hair fuzz and.drywall dust vacuumed out. Now it work as intended.

WOW! This probably is not addressing my Wine Enthusiast Cooler issue, but you do an EXCEPTIONAL job of showing and clearly explaining exactly what you're doing. You might try a puck light to bring more light into the unit--when needed. But great job! I just discovered my unit making a continual clicking sound, with the temperature reading just flashing. Motor is running and bottles are still cool. Hmmm?
I wasn’t either. After replacing the relay switch, it clicked and the compressor still would not function. I’m wondering if the compressor is bad if the relay swap didn’t work. Mine is still under warranty.
I did this fix to my Frigidaire wine fridge and it seems to be working. My challenge was getting the housing off but other than that it was very easy. Thank you very much for the video!
Great video. Super helpful. TBH, these relays failing is far too common. Either the relays are spec'd poorly and/or poorly made. Meaning, either they're just not designed to handle the on/off current cycles reliably, or they are simply just built too poorly to do the job in the long-term. I've owned many mini-fridges with a similar motor/refrigerant setup and never had this issue.

Hi , I have newair wine fridge , left panel is 61 temp and right is 72. If I adjusted the right side lower than 72 it doesn’t change at all stay the same 72. Left side , it drop from. 64 to 61 itself. If I changes manually it doesn’t change. Any ideas why?

I cannot find a repair person that works on Zephyr Wine & Beverage cooler. I purchased it in 2020 and it stopped cooling 2years later. One appliance technician told me that it is the compressor and he will not replace compressors. A National appliance company told me they don’t work on Zephyr Any suggestions?

I have a sinoartizan that runs, but doesn't get cool enough, only to 52 or so. Would this fix still apply?

What happens if you plug these in 220v?

I don’t hear my compressor running, only the fan on the inside.

Great video; crossing my fingers that this is my problem too. I hate to toss at $500+ wine cooler or pay a repairman hundreds to do what I could do for $20-$30!

Hi , I have newair wine fridge , left panel is 61 temp and right is 72. If I adjusted the right side lower than 72 it doesn’t change at all stay the same 72. Left side , it drop from. 64 to 61 itself. If I changes manually it doesn’t change. Any ideas why?

I cannot find a repair person that works on Zephyr Wine & Beverage cooler. I purchased it in 2020 and it stopped cooling 2years later.
One appliance technician told me that it is the compressor and he will not replace compressors.
A National appliance company told me they don’t work on Zephyr
Any suggestions?

Mine cool but until 59f no less than that. Compressor keep running but temp do not get lower that that. Ideas?
