I love Duraline & use it a lot. I’m also quite interested in seeing you try a particular type of mediums. I make makeup (super indie one person brand being launched)and it leads me to find my ingredients, I come across mediums straight from the manufacturers or ingredient merchants. I am super curious about the premixed mediums. I’ve never bought them as I mix my own emollients that work like Duraline in products. If they work well like Duraline or Mehron it would be an amazing good deal! They sell a decent amount for cheaper than most of these products. If interested I’ll send you links
Oh and if you want I can also tell you some tips on ingredients that do the same thing! Of course the ones I use you have to mix and be precise but still, it’s an option
@@NaomiDollxoxo ooooo I am very interesting in hearing about what ingredients are in mixing mediums!! I've heard duraline has silicone but not sure about what else!
I love Duraline! I use it so many ways! Not only do I make eyeshadow into eyeliner, I use it to give life back to products that start to dry or aren’t as wet as they should be(example mascara when dries before expiration, eyeshadow/powder products that are wet feeling like super shock shadows, eyeliner pens, etc)
I absolutely love using Duraline to bring life to my pomades, gel liners and mascara. I’ve used it with my kvd eyebrow pomades to use as liners as sometimes I feel it needs a little more slip and it works perfectly. I love love love how your look turned out!
OMG I instantly ordered duraline after I watched your video. I have watery eyes but I love water activated liner. This can be really. frustrating. This is literally a gamechanger for me. I'm glad you always come up with such amazing tips and inspirations. 🥺❤️
Omg I’m so happy you got duraline!! It really is a lifesaver during allergy season!🙌🏻 I even used it over a glittery shadow the other night and it made it stay so well!!
Did it end up working for you? I sweat a lot on my face due to a medication and last time I tried water activated liner it just melted off as I was applying it cause I was too sweaty 😞
I think adding duraline might make me want to use water activated liners 🤧 I didn't know I would have the opportunity! I can't use them now because I have watery eyes as well as my area is prone to rain so yay!
Omg yeasss the duraline totally would help with watery eyes and rain!! I forgot to bring my duraline with me when I went home to visit my parents last weekend and my allergies were so bad and my liner ran all down my face!😭
I LOVE Duraline!!! It's my favorite mixing medium. It also works to revive gel liners in pots and pencil form. Another mixing medium I really like is Make Up For Ever Aqua Fix. I would say that one is better for mixing with shadows while Duraline excels with gel formulations. One I tried very recently is Makeup a Murder's Chemical X Cosmetic Sealant. Now, that one feels like Duraline but DOES NOT come off. Seriously. I decided not to put it on my eyes (because it's difficult to remove), but for face decorations it works amazingly! Kind of has a rubber smell from the dropper, that's not a deal breaker for me. And if you're ever out of actual mixing medium, Mist and Fix from Make Up For Ever is a great alternative! I find it to be somewhere between Duraline and Aqua Fix. Great job, Giovanna! Thank you for sharing! ❤️ If you want a bit of a better tutorial (than Coffee Break with Dani's) on how to use Duraline, ahitsrosa has a video titled: How To Turn Any EYE SHADOW Into EYELINER. She's who I learned from and she was really into graphic liners and stuff, so I feel like her proportions and everything are a little more realistic for what someone doing that would use. I wish she still did videos because hers were so great. At least she left them up for us to enjoy! 😊
I would love to see a video comparing duraline and the mehron mixing medium! I have mehron but I have never tried the inglot and have always wondered if they were really that different. I laughed every time you flinched when spraying the water lol! That really amazed me that it made the water activated liner water proof!
I just purchased Mehron and it's arriving in a few days. Duraline is what I use when durability is needed...in rainy or humid weather, otherwise I prefer easy to remove liners and mascara. I mainly want to use Mehron for thinning foundation or concealer which are often too gloppy and apply heavily on my skin.
dude!!! Omg it’s so stunning 🤩 Glistens amethyst is already on my long, long list of liners I want from them but if anything this video has taught me I need a metallic purple eyeliner asap!!
Amazing🤩 I was wondering how you would put the duraline on the wet liner and I'm so happy that its not too difficult ☺️ I ordered for the first time from glisten last week and I'm super excited for it😻
Your energy is infectious! So entertaining to watch. I actually bought a bunch of glisten wet liners using ur code! Thanks so much for being an inspiration. Quick question: Have u used their duochromes? Have a brand you recommend for duochrome wetliners if glistens aren’t the way to go?
I am almost out of my first bottle of duraline, I looove it to revive my kvd coloured pomades for my coloured eyebrows and in general love to add it to powdered stuff! :)
I have Duraline and also a mixing medium by NYX. I love using them to create liners with shadows that i otherwise would have thrown away. They are horrible eyeshadows (from old Makeup Revolution palettes), but they make cool liners.
I have been using the nyx one for years and now I can't find it (it is probably discontinued). Is the duraline the same ? Does it work on oily lids? Nyx was wonderful because it lasted like a champ 😅
Oh btw I have recently revived my dried out Colourpop roll up pencil liners by putting a drop into them and letting it sit cap up. They're now better than new!
I use it for foundations too for longevity and I think it works well for me. I'm a combo oily girl and I've been testing it for when summer hits and I'm still crossing my fingers lol.
Hi!!! I know I’m super late to the party, but I need to know! Do you use eye primer when doing these graphic looks? Or is it just right on your eye, then topped w the duraliner? I absolutely love your channel! I am new to the graphic liner scene, and your videos have helped me so much!! Your makeup looks are always flawless!!
Can you try the duraline in your hand, just like the waterliner? My eyes are crying all the time, that's why I use waterproof liners only. The duraline still not being waterproof enough for me and I don't know if it's the product or if I am doing something wrong
Would you say the Duraline is perfect for the summer heat and humidity? I am trying to find a way to make my water activated eyeliners stay put in the upcoming summer heat >
Does anyone know if duraline works well with the water activated liners for us girlies who hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating)? I really want to use my water activated liners outside without it dripping everywhere :(
Unfortunately duraline does not mix with water activated liner!🥲 You can use it to “set” the water activated liner when it’s dry but it won’t make it 100% waterproof but it def increases the longevity!
Unrelated to this video, BUT I know you posted about the new Huda Color Block palettes on your IG story and I just saw a review by Karen Harris. I know you’re a purple loving gal, but it seems that the orange and purple palette isn’t the way to go on this release. You might want to give her video a watch, and if you decide to try it for yourself, the blue and green is probably the best way to go 👍
Ok, I’ll be honest…at first I was all inpatient and like ‘get to the point’, but I ended up watching the whole thing and loving your fun energy. Also, thanks for the mini tutorial. Subbed.
Have you tried duraline before? OR do you have any other mixing mediums you love and want me to try?👀

Does it also prevent fall out from glitter/shimmer eyeshadows?

I’ve been meaning to get Duraline for a while, and now it is a higher priority bc WOW 🤩
I put off trying it for years and for what!! Lol it really is worth the hype!🙌🏻

Thanks for this! I'll buy one now! You're the best!
I have an unopened bottle of Duraline that I am super excited to use now!
I would love to see a Mehron comparison video 💜
Omg yay!! I think it would be really fun to compare them! They’re such different textures but claim to do similar things!🤔
I'm a duraline lover and new to water activated liners! Win Win!!! Thank you!!!
Omg yay!! They work so well together!🙌🏻
your english is so perfect. i understand everything you are talking about, however, my english is bad. btw duraline is an amazing item, yeppp
oooooo that looks incredible 🤩 brb gonna go get the inglot mixing medium now
Thank you!😍 You should totally try it! It seems like it will last a long time too!
This is super helpful!
Totally random but your chopped comment made me so nostalgic lol growing up food network was like all my family watched.
I love chopped and all of food network lol! I was just home visiting my parents last weekend and it’s all we watched!

Pomade is a good shout as well! I wonder if summer brows will stay on longer with duraline...
okay you sold me😂 i only wear cake liners but it rains so often where i live so i definitely need this!
Omg yessss duraline would totally work in the rain! I was shocked by how waterproof it was!🤯
I use it for foundations too for longevity and I think it works well for me. I'm a combo oily girl and I've been testing it for when summer hits and I'm still crossing my fingers lol.
