Jack what a Beautiful and Great Video my Friend. My Mom Died of Lung Cancer, my Dad passed because of Several Medical Issues. My Wife's Mom did of Pancreatic Cancer. So it's touched both of our Lives. We took care of Both of our Parents, that's why we got Married back in 1999. We are both care givers, as we took care of our neighbor down the Street for 6years before she passed away. Also our next Door Neighbor who was diagnosed with Stag 3 Dementia. Now my Wife just got Diagnosed with COPD. I will not be able to make that wonderful Event the Woodhounds will be having my Friend, but will try and Make a Donation for the event. I do think things happen like this and we Friends need to get together and Take Care of one another. I will stay in Touch Buddy. Ron from the Woodyard in Duanesburg NY.
It's touched alot of us and it's never easy dealing with it. I'm just thankful to be a part of this community and able to give back to some of those in need. Take care Ron, have a good weekend too.
@@LogCabinFirewood I live in southern Maine, a little to far away to help but I would make a cash donation if you could share the info & address. It’s a great cause & so nice of the volunteers to help. Keep us watchers informed. Thank you. As Joe @ OWB’s would say, Have A Great Day.👍
Jack,I’m not sure you know that things are going to be whole lot better than last year because people have had a chance to make arrangements for being able to come I’m know there’s going to be more wood hounds😊❤
Jack thats awsome doing a part & helping get people together to help HOPE. After seeing the youtube video of it last year with Ken & Dan i said i was going to go this year to help . Unfortunately i cant keep my promise because i am now scheduled for rotator cuff surgery 9/3 so no way i can make it this year . I hope you come next year god willing .
Thank you for making this video Jack. It is always good to see you. I want to thank Ken @yorkfirewood for putting this event together. Anyone looking for additional information please reach out to any of us.
Thanks buddy, I figure the more we talk about it in the upcoming months, we might be able to get a few more hands on deck to help out. Hopefully we can get it all split up for them and help them out the best we can ❤️
Hey Jack! Thanks for being a part of this. That is a massive pile if wood to split! I don't think it's in the cards for me to make it this year but we'll see! Great cause!
They definitely have alot more wood than last year, so hopefully we get a few more people to come out and lend a hand this year. Ita definitely a hike from Indiana, totally understand. ❤️
A big part of me making it back there for the veterans event. Is my mom has been through 3 rounds of it. Plus, Father one time. Mom's basically on rest of her life treatments. The long term affects are brutal, putting it lightly. . Wish I could be there, but it's not in the budget. I'm sure plenty of others will step up, so make it happen!
This is awesome Jack! I’m going to do my best to be able to make it down for the event, not sure about bringing equipment but I’ll figure that out as it gets closer.
Nice video I was there last year with my processor but have sold the firewood business and the processor is gone I still have my dump trailer if that may be of any help. It was great last year meeting all you great guys what a bunch of hard working people that showed up
Jeff, that would be a big help. Let's touch base a little closer to the event and we'll see if we have enough that are more local to the event. Appreciate your support brother ❤️
We will be there with our Allwood splitter and three guys. I email you and Ken about a couple other things as well. We will bring the maniacs from Maine down 👍🏻🔥🪵
Thanks for sharing this early in the year, hope to see twin city firewood can make it there let that super split of his fly. Some of us might have a far commute if we decide to make the travel, any good ideas on places to stay the night close by?
Yeah it is a hike for alot of folks, like you said just trying to get the word out early so more can make plans if they do decide to make it. This is open to all splitters, not brand specific, even box store are welcomed. Stewartstown PA is the town it's in, Ken said there is a hotel near by but I'm not sure of which one it is. I can look into it though. ❤️
@@LogCabinFirewood thank you, Ken, and all others involved for a great cause. These events just highlight the types of people in our little hobby/community
So I do remember Mrs.Barb saying they take care of folks all over the country, but I believe it's all based out of the Pennsylvania location. Great question, I'll try and get more information on that and get back to ya though., if there's anything else available. Thanks ❤️
WoW! That’s Incredibly Awesome!
Just doing what we can when we can is all. Thanks ❤️

Do they have more locations? Anything like this happening in Missouri?

What is the address I may try to get down to represent the Maine Woodhound community.
That would be awesome, everything is listed in the description of the video, thank you❤️
