One thing that irks many Filipino men is when a Filipina would actually say that they would rather have a relationship or marry a western Caucasian man than a Filipino, because it is an "Improvement of the race". This actually happened to one of my Filipino best friends in the 90's, who was otherwise, one of the nicest and most generous persons I know. It got him pretty mad and at the same time, devastated him, because he trusted most people he knows very much, and when he heard this from a Filipina that he just started going out with, he did not know what to think and do, But I can really understand how badly it affected him. I guess that Filipina was not worth his time anyway, if she is so tacky and ignorant enough to say that to a Filipino she was out on a date with......
He did eventually find a Filipina to marry here in the US that appreciated and really loved him. They have two grown children now and looking to retire soon in California or even in the Philippines..... He and her could be more happier with their loving and proerous life they built together!

It's funny because Western men at least tend to prefer the more east-Asian looking 'pure blood' Fillipina looks to those with lots of European ancestry, so from our Western POV he's the one "improving the race" when he marries a Filipina & has kids with her 😄

Every time a western man marries a provincial looking filipina and they have daughters, I assume that the Philippines just increased its chances of winning another Miss Universe pageant 🤣

I am an American that is lived in the Philippines 36 years. I speak your language fluently just like you speak English. The idea that teachers here do not take advantage of kids is absolutely untrue. My wife’s family is the family of educators they taught at the University level and in high schools. It is not uncommon for male teachers to take sexual advantage of young girls and exchange for grades. That’s a fact.

I live in London, lots of lovely Filipinas here. I introduced my best friend to one and now they're together in Belfast & getting along very well. Mutual love and respect. I dated a Filipina last year and she was very nice, but now I'm dating a very nice lady of Indian heritage. No need for Western men to be lonely. 😄

Thank you for watching - I agree, there is no need for a western man to be lonely. There are great women around the world (not just the Philippines) who would make a great mate. Glad to hear you found yours.

They (his gf & mine) have both been worried by the recent anti-immigration protests & riots here in the UK, but we explain that a lot of what they see in the media isn't true, it's mostly not hostility to all foreigners, but more about certain government policies especially on refugee settlement.

I understand her concerns and see some of the negative press in the US. When I talked to my friends in the UK recently, I have heard only positive things and they are not experiencing anything unpleasant. Filipinos in the UK are not refugees, just nurses.

I believe that this experience is also shared by the many Brazilians and other Latin American people who live in the USA! Many want an opportunity to live outside the country as it does not offer as profitable a future as in North America! Others want to try life in countries like Japan or England and the question always revolves around having more opportunities in countries that provide opportunities! I saw that the salary of Brazilians is very equivalent to that of the Filipino and compared to other currencies such as the dollar and euro, there is not much prospect of progress if the person only lives here in Brazil! A Japanese friend who lived here had the following opinion: If she wanted to live freely and without bureaucracy, she would prefer Brazil but when it comes to money, Japan would be the best option! In fact, in Brazil people walk how they want, say what they want, regardless of age or religion! This is the beauty of my country in my opinion, however, it is a country that manages the population's income very poorly! This is historic!! Congratulations on the video, my friend

My mother was from England. She married my American father and moved with him to the USA. She worked here as well. No one had a problem with it. I'd extend a Filipina the same courtesy.
Secondly, if an American doesn't know enough history to understand why so many Filipinos speak or at least understand English, feel sorry for that person. How can you be so about your own country and not educate yourself on its history?

These folks just forgot the history of colonizing Philippines and shared their language with us. I feel like lecturing them about their invasion in my country ( in positive way ) and see how they would react to it .. seriously, I don’t mind it now, although I still get that comment particularly from men.

My FIL was a retired marine who fought in WW2, Korea and Vietnam. He did a great deal of good for the Philippines. I prefer to focus on his sacrifice. He is also buried in a civil war era national cemetery (see previous video) which had numerous graves of people with my last name who were fought against slavery and lost their lives in the process. How much does a family need to sacrifice for others for you to see the good in America?

Lots of stuff to dig in to here and not enough time. "Fer. Murrican Wimin" it'sre great not to need a man to survive but it doesn't preclude that having a partner you love and care for makes life so much better. Partners come in infinite variety and none are perfect. Murrican men at least a bunch of us like to fix things and if that's not having a partner some of us will quit playing ostrich and consider alternatives. I considered, and my solution turned out to be learning to like myself more then my life got better.
