I am so glad to see another artist who crochets off the top of the left index finger instead of holding it up and away with the yarn looped around it, as we see in many video tutorials. I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one! Nice to know we all have slightly different ways of finding our comfort zone so we can do our best work!
I agree, so many other videos show crochet with the forefinger stuck up in the air. I couldn't do that as I am hypermobile and my finger would lock backwards into a swan neck shape after too long and I would have to stop for a while to let the pain subside afer I straighten my finger. I am going to try this as, though I place the yarn over my forefinger I have been placing the yarn over the hook, This method looks ideal.
This is a lovely stitch and the fabric is definitely more feminine than the Alligator Stitch, as Ms. Massey pointed out before me. It reminds me of a new stitch I saw earlier tonight on Pinterest. It had the same rounded petals as this stitch, only more of them which overlap like the Alligator Stitch. It was called the Sequin Stitch. Thank you for showing us these new and innovative ways to crochet. Your slow movements are easy to follow and having the pattern right on the screen is so helpful! Thank you for your tutelage. We've come a long way from the way my great aunt taught me to crochet sixty years ago! Love and stitches from the beautiful State of Tennessee in the U.S.
Pattern, is at top of Screen. They all are, only music playing and people are so ungrateful. These teachers don't have to share Anything! Stop being rude to Our Teachers, I thank God for every beautiful pattern they give to us, and they are Wonderful in making Crochet and Knitting and Tunisian Crochet.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽❤️❤️❤️❤️💯 Try being a little more grateful in your COMMENTS! PEACE! THANK YOU ALL TEACHERS ON EVERY PLATFORM!
Absolutely agree. You don’t have to watch, learn or even be here. These artist are amazing people who have a talent that they are able to share. Ungrateful people just like to whine, snivel and complain about any and everything just because they think it’s their right. Block and boot those miserable losers! Thank you for sharing your experience and talent, I appreciate the opportunity to learn.
Wow! I’ve knitted scarves and blankets for years but recently met a friend who crochets. I’m amazed how she’s able to create necklaces, even a blanket while I’m still knitting a scarf. So glad I found your lesson. Thank you for sharing!🥰
Im just learning to knit and crochet. It is so, SO amazing what can be done with a simple needle and yarn. This inspires me, so thank you for sharing. It’s so pretty. 😁
Such a pretty and unique pattern, and the thread you chose is perfect for it. It does remind me a bit of the alligator stitch, but definitely more feminine.
Pleasant music! Great visuals. As a teacher myself I know that people learn by watching. I am trying to learn to crochet. I think I would use these videos to observe and not feel so overwhelmed.
Wow that is amazing and very beautiful. Thank you for sharing this beautiful tutorial with everyone watching . I just love these tutorial cause this is how I'm learning to crochet. I don't know how to follow a pattern, but following the tutorial makes it easier and simple to learn crochet. Thank you so much for your time in doing these tutorial to help everyone that wants to learn 👋.
I agree. If you don't like the music, you can turn it off, you don't have to listen to it. I've been crocheting for 50 years and can follow any pattern or diagram out there but I'm also very visually-oriented and I have learned so much from youtube teachers. Just seeing how someone else does it has been so helpful and gratifying.
What a gorgeous pattern. I wish I had a hook and yarn just to try it right now. Thank you so much for sharing and making it so easy to follow. I’m glad I found this channel. 🥰
Hi im only avter finding this channel and i crochet like a knitter like but gosh i have never done such fancy work .im delighted i have found ur channel .i be going over and over this pattern to get the drift I have just done ordinary stitches never fancy work like this .thank you for sharing .❤❤❤

Ms. Evelyn, just slide the red line almost to the end of Video and you will see this beautiful piece of Hand Art Pattern of Amazing Crochet finished model of the pattern before you start watching the Video. When I study a new pattern, I watch it quietly 2 times so that I am able to crochet this Gorgeous Model.
I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve saved this video to try I found your visual instructions very easy to follow, as I’m still learning to crotchet, and I’m 69 years young 😉❣️. Thank you for sharing, and I’ve subscribed. It’s a beautiful pattern ❣️
It's the way she's holding her left hand with her finger down. Usually we've been taught to crochet with that first finger raised in the air. I must try this, it looks easier on your hands, less tiring.
It’s a beautiful pattern and I appreciate the tutorial! The only complaint I have is that you work with your hands so close to the fabric that it’s difficult to see.
This is very beautiful I would love to try it but I haven’t done this before and I wish you would have explained how and the the number of stitches.Very beautiful 🌻
It's a pretty and unique pattern. It would be good to see the finished product for us old-times before spending time watching the mundane stitches. Just a thought. Thanks.
What a beautiful crochet pattern. Your tutorial is excellent. I just might give it a try. I haven’t crocheted in several years and this has inspired me enough to get out my crochet hook and some yarn!

I thought I was the only one who crocheted this way! 😊
I was just thinking the same thing. I have been crocheting that way for 50yrs and thought maybe I was the only one.
😊
❤
What is the pattern called? Thank you.
I agree, so many other videos show crochet with the forefinger stuck up in the air. It always amazes me how people come up with new ideas for patterns. Very well done.

Such a pretty and unique pattern, and the thread you chose is perfect for it. It does remind me a bit of the alligator stitch, but definitely more feminine.
