Το Νεοχώρι χτίστηκε στο τέλος του Μεσαίωνα, γύρω στα 1600 από κατοίκους των γύρω οικισμών αλλά και από νησιώτες και Ασπροποταμίτες. Ένα καταπράσινο χωριό, άγνωστο στους πολλούς αλλά γνωστό στους εκλεκτικούς και λάτρες του. Το χωριό παρέμεινε αναλλοίωτο από παρεμβάσεις και ο τουρισμός σε αυτό τον τόπο είναι ήπιας μορφής.
Neohori (its name meaning "new village") was built at the end of the Middle Ages, around 1600 from residents of the surrounding settlements as well as islanders. An incredibly lush village, not very well known to the grand public, it has remained mostly unchanged through all these years of mass tourism development in the Pelion area.

Η Αργαλαστή είναι μία ημιορεινή κωμόπολη της Περιφέρειας Θεσσαλίας, στην περιφερειακή ενότητα Μαγνησίας, στην Ελλάδα me πληθυσμό 1.694 κατοίκων. Είναι χτισμένη σε ένα εύφορο πεδίο 40 χλμ. νοτιοανατολικά του Βόλου, σε μεσοσταθμικό υψόμετρο 250 μέτρα πάνω από την επιφάνεια της θάλασσας (196 μέτρα η κεντρική πλατεία). Αποτελεί σημαντικό τουριστικό (και τοπικά εμπορικό) κέντρο της περιοχής, ως ένα από τα χωριά του Πηλίου με πλούσια πολιτιστική παράδοση, και σταθμό για όσους κατευθύνονται προς τις κοντινές παραλίες του Παγασητικού (Χόρτο, Κάλαμος, Λεφόκαστρο) ή του ανοικτού Αιγαίου (Ποτιστικά, Μελανή, Πάλτση). Εξαιρετικό δείγμα τοπικής αρχιτεκτονικής των αρχών του εικοστού αιώνα αποτελεί το καμπαναριό του ναού των Αγίων Αποστόλων.
Argalasti is a village and a former municipality in Magnesia, Thessaly, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality South Pelion, of which it is the seat and a municipal unit. It is built on a fertile plateau, 40 km southeast of Volos. It is an important commercial and tourism center of the area with a rich cultural tradition. Argalasti is a stopping point for those headed for the nearby beaches of the Pagasetic Gulf (Chorto, Kalamos, Lefokastro) or the Aegean Sea (Potistika, Melani, Paltsi). An example of the architecture of the beginning of the 20th century is the church tower of the church of Sts. Apostles.

Στην κορυφογραμμή του Νότιου Πηλίου, σε υψόμετρο 310 μέτρων με άπλετη θέα προς τον Παγασητικό κόλπο, βρίσκεται το αρχοντοχώρι του Νοτίου Πηλίου Λαύκος. Η πρόσβαση του γίνεται από το χωριό Μετόχι ή παραλιακά από το χωριό της Μηλίνας. Η απόσταση του από την πόλη του Βόλου είναι 54χμ. Ένα ιδιαίτερο χωριό, με εντυπωσιακή μεγάλη πλατεία, πετρόκτιστες βρύσες και πλακόστρωτα καλντερίμια μέσα από τα οποία ο επισκέπτης μπορεί να ανακαλύψει γνήσια πηλιορείτικα αρχόντικα.
A significant village in the area, Lafkos is located at the peak along the ridge of South Pelion, 310 meters above sea level with a panoramic view of the Pagasetic Gulf. It is accessible from the village of Metohi or from the coastal road through the village of Milina when coming from the city of Volos. It is situated at 54 km from the city of Volos. It is a distinct village, with a large and impressive plaza, stone fountains and cobblestone streets in which visitors can discover mansions of typical Pelion style architecture.
