Frida on lead and one of her most amazing vocals. The "now you're working in a bank..." part gives me shivers. Also...you yelling out "BEEE-Yorn!" at random intervals is hysterical. It can be your catch phrase!

I so agree! And the "BEEE-Yorn" is absolutely hysterical while being ironically endearing also.I went with a friend to Paris where we first stopped for a pastry before walking along the Seine. Needless to say I was threatened by noon to stop singing "Our Last Summer" or I was going to end up swimming in the Seine. I hope you review "The Visitors" soon. A great Frida lead and an example of ABBA's diverse abilities.

has a nice melody and a beautiful interpretation by Frida,
with Agnetha supporting it in the backing vocals.
and a great instrumental moment
The lyrics are a reflexion of Björn about a trip in your youngest days
It's a very good song, (7/8pts)
but not in my Top 5 of the "Super Truper" album
and curiosity I believe is one of the favourites of Agnetha in the album

You are certainly showcasing Frida's finest vocals this week. My whole house decor is french themed (subtle though) and it all started with a picture I bought for my hallway of the Eiffel Tower lol.

Never really listened to that song. Very nice. The "bus" was what the group used to tour on at first. They had no money and very humble beginnings when they started out. Benny and Bjorn loved it lol. Not so sure about Anna and Frida. But hey it got them to gigs and fit all their equipment. It is in the ABBA museum now in Stockholm an incredibly interactive museum you need to see! Lots of ABBAs stuff there like Bennys first accordian ( his first and most beloved instrument)from age 6, Bjorns famouse spikey guitar, all their elaborte costumes and gold records. You can dance on a stage with their abbatars. Looks awesome. Take care

We have four distinct seasons in Sweden and we enjoy all of them. The summer has it's own magic with sun light until midnight in Stockholm and 24hrs up north. The celebration of Midsummer at the end of June (summer solstice) is a tradition since we were pagans and many babies are born nine months after it, go figure😉
The baby is Linda, Agnetha's and Björn's first child. Agnetha had two babies during their 10 year career, Linda in 1973 and Peter in 1977.
Btw, the baking picture is supposed to be a traditional Swedish Christmas baking :)
Not all of the seasons, I hate winter and snow. Way too long and cold too.
Almost brought me to tears reliving the childhood memories of this song. Super Trouper was my favorite, as I played it around the clock. This album brought me a lot of joy during those difficult adolescent years. My younger sister liked this song. It hard to choose a fav from this album, as they are all incredible. Me and I, Happy New Year, and of coure, The Winner Takes It All are definite standouts. It has one of the best closing tunes : the heartwarming amd bittersweet, The Way Old Friends Do. Despite their relationship struggle, the song makes one realize how much each one means to eachother. And how much Abba means to all their loving fans, like me!

Very touching song. I feel tears because of knowing today how the ABBA's members life passed since they released it. Especially the girls. The worst women's and parents' nightmares happened to them. And they managed to overcome. They are so fragile and so strong. Sure there are millions of people getting through bad times. ABBA just had disadvantage of being public persons. So my emotions are mostly about themselves.

You said something interesting: "they are always smiling". That's one of the things about ABBA. Today's music is being with depressed or arrogant faces the major time and ABBA just smiled simply as that. That's why they are who they are, one of the best selling acts of all time I guess only behind the Beatles. They are huge. The more you hear them the more you want to hear new songs from them.ABBA is a whole. People just talk about the amazing voices of the two girls but they are more than that. The two guys are not always on the front but let's do some justice, the musics sung by Aghneta and Frida were also successful because they are catchy and on that Bjorn and Benny are geniuses on composing antological tunes, on the other hand this tunes wouldn't be so successful if they were sung by other girls than Frida and Aghneta, I just love them all the girls and the boys❤❤❤❤

Bklyn, has anyone mentioned this to you. If you love Frida so much you should check-out her solo song, "I Know Theres Something Going On." From the album "Somethings Going On." The song got alot airplay here in the US. It has a rockier edge to it. The album does not capture that same brilliance that they had as a group. But worth checking out. Love, ❤love, the enthusiasm and entertainment you bring to your videos.❤

I love this song, Frida's vocals are amazing, and the lyrics really evoke emotions and reflections about life and time passing by. However, I was never fan of this slideshow. This is such a brilliant Frida song, and though some of the images are cute and fine, overall this selection really does not do justice to the beauty and charisma of Frida. But - hey - that's just me.
