Oh those glass bottles will be a great DIY! Have you ever tried glass etching? You get the etching cream at Michaels and you can do labels or words etched in. I did some that say Laudanum, Poison, cyanide, , skull & crossbones, etc.

im guessing black plague between gothic whih i guess victorian mourning wearn the rat which were everywhere during it, it was only candles and oil lanterns for nighttime light cus in home electricity wasnt a thing till the edwardian era( 1900-1920s) and since it was a plage the bottles could get new labels as apothecary medication.
