D.O is no less great, he has been named as the top Korean actor. This year, D.O became the most anticipated actor in Korea. Because of his busy carreer as an actor, he hasn't got a sub unit or single project yet except 2014 ("Tell me what is love" and "Crying out" for ost his first movie) to show his great singing abilities. D.O is King of RnB song ...as you can see, his English pronunciation is very good ...
I love this. D.O's voice is great. As for Chanyeol, I love watching him play guitar. Not only does it sound amazing, but you can tell he loves what he is doing.
He loves playing the guitar the most, but doesn’t have the time to play like he wished he could. He would love the fact that a professional gave him such high remarks. D.O is truly a vocal god. I read somewhere that he wants to do more English version songs in concerts but again time constraints. Great job reacting and teaching us a bit about your passion!

I like this version, and D.O's voice sounds really sweet... I like it when he sounds more powerful, which he can do perfectly well. That's why I want an acoustic version of Virtual Insanity with both of them. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure I've heard an acoustic version of that. Gonna go look for one right now.

It may be because Chanyeol played instruments and was in bands before he debuted. His dad also owns a live cafe where there are live band sessions so playing musical instruments might be a son and dad bonding thing
This duo needs an official sub-unit, they want it so much. They record covers on their own and Chanyeol puts it on Soundcloud, and Chanyeol's played both the guitar and piano for D.O.'s solos. It will have to be a proper duo though, I feel like some Yeolmaes wouldn't be happy if he didn't sing if it was a sub-unit.

I think it's funny when you said most people who have a lot going for them don't have the drive to be really good at guitar because Chanyeol's personality is the continuous improvement type haha. I guess his competitiveness also fuels that a bit but let's look at a list of things he's put his passions into. Music: he's learned multiple instruments and composing; Sports: he's really good at carom billiards haha I love his trick shots! he's become really good at snowboarding too. And of course, bowling. He used to be bad at it and now he's so proud of his skills. He even goes solo, without EXO, to Idol competitions haha; Academics: haha, I don't really know why or how he does it but he's also enrolled in graduate school. I think whatever he wants to do, he will really put his best into it.
