Yes a little heavier would be better and slower movement. Not about the speed. All about the form and fluent movement. And of course the stance and posture. Best if seated with back support as well so there is a little bit of a push with your feet so to last just that extra little bit.

So next time you accuse someone of not knowing what they are talking about you better know what you are talking about first not to mention the fact that due to the lever this exercise can only really be used as a burn out exercise at the end of a workout and that’s when it is done right

@@SheepWaveMeByeBye as long as you have complete control at every point it should be safe to go somewhat quickly with a light weight. but that weight would likely be a smallish plate, reducing rom, and there are more effective exercises to use as a burner. and using a heavy/large enough plate to be effective, if you were to go quickly, you would be fighting the momentum at the end of each turn, which would be pretty bad for your shoulders i think. i would want to take advantage of the fact that its putting load on my shoulders and stabilizers in a position that they wouldn't be in during normal lifts. the exercise is much more effective in that regard.

This is actually a legit workout works your shoulders. Mainly use as a warm up tho. We did this in our high school weight lifting program. The coach picked in up from Colorado university football's program.
Letting your own actions be determined by others is also what keeps you in a cycle of being unhappy and blaming others for your mistakes. People need to take responsibility and be honestly determined to reach a certain goal. Standing on a crosstrainer for 15 seconds isn't productive
