Love your WIP & Chats. Your Patriotic Gnome is beautiful & your current one also looking great! I am fairly new to Diamond Painting & love watching your placement technique.
New to d.p. Late Oct 2024. I have rheumatoid arthritis. My goals are to enjoy this hobby without flaring my joints. So far, I have really been enjoying. Moderation is the key to my joy with this craft!
I only have two goals for 2025, and they are #1, to continue my 2024 goal of DP'ing a minimum of 3 hours a day, and I've met that goal already this year; and #2, to master multi placing. I am working on it with a small amount of success, but I will persevere. Once I feel I've mastered it, I may never use it again since single placing is what I find most enjoyable, but I am stubborn and feel very strongly about reaching this goal. I loved hearing yours.
I love watching you place your drills! I’m close to finishing my Spangler Mystery painting. I will be so excited to finish, and have really enjoyed it.
You did great with your goals so far! Really curious to see if you can reach your hour goal. That would be madness 😅 Maybe a tip for you, as well as it was a tip for me that someohe commented under my videos. I now use the setting when I film of 'professional video', then you can set the focus to stay at the same thing, which would be your painting itself, and not auto focus. For me it works way better when I do these close up wip&chats or ASMR videos 😊❤
She's looking very beautiful, almost done, Wow u've completed so many, I think U'll make it ur goal or be super close, but u've had a very turbulent year, I think u've done fantastic Have a great day ❄️🎄❄️
Hi Daphne, love your WIP and Chats. I am really impressed that you set goals. Something my severe ADHD brain and I plan to try in 2025. Even my friends are telling me to stop buying Diamond painting kits. Plan to visit the Bay of Fundy, and Peggy's Cove.
Hi I am new to your channel I like your videos your videos are great keep up the amazing videos can’t wait to see your videos. I just like your videos and I just subscribed to your TH-cam channel. Happy holidays to you and your family have a wonderful rest of your week and weekend also. I just got into diamond painting kits 4 days ago working on Santa Claus petting his rain deer they are very fun to work on and relaxing.
I don’t typically set goals, but I’ve been more productive this year maintaining only a single WIP. I work full time, and I have a lot of large canvases. I do like shopping the stash. What’s old is new again.
For moving to another country I think you have 13:52 done an incredible job on your goals. I only set one goal. That was to survive the year and so far so good! 🙃. I really enjoy yours videos and thank you so much for sharing your life with us. Love, Theresa
This canvas is looking great. Soon be completed. I have not thought about goals for diamond painting. But I am doing 2/3/4 multi placing on 20/20 canvases so alot of practise may help. TFS
I mostly listen to your TH-cam. No firm goals but I have decided to purchase smaller kits since I’ve recently been diagnosed with de Quervains (wrist/thumb tendon issue) and I’d like to avoid surgery.
My only goal for 2025 is to get my stash down to 6 and then keep it there. I’m currently at 14 (and they are all big) and it’s freaking me out a little bit. I will also be on a no-buy for six months while I work on the stash. This has been my first year of diamond painting and it’s been an education. Thank you for all the effort you put into your videos. I do enjoy every one that you do.
My goal for my DP is to keep track of what I have so I won't spend as much as I've spent since I started at the beginning of October 😅 I already ordered 3 times from DAC (2 x 2 kits and 1 time a big and a small one) 😅 1 time from Dreamer designs and so many kits from Michael's, budget compagnies ,Temu and AliExpress 😅 So I really have to put a hold on those! My only exception is that I asked for gift cards for Christmas so I'm allowing myself to buy with thoses 😊 I also think about to do some log book like you and Lisette did. Really useful!
Impressive. I’m not a goals person but watching your videos I’ve actually started sort of categorizing my stash (five oldest and Wants for example) and I made a list! I decided which kit(s) I will do each month. I have two WIPS going at all times-one square kit and one round kit. So I have my schedule written down and it will be interesting to see how close I am able to follow it. I did allow 3 months for my next JWall. My first one took 73 days. If I finish in less than 3 months I’ll have the fun of choosing an unscheduled kit to do. Does all that make sense? Merry Christmas to you and your families ❤
Only been diamond painting since September so a little too early to set goals, but do want to get some of my earlier round drill diamond paintings done. I tend to prefer square I think they give more definition. So goal #1 do some of my rounds which I have plenty of and #2 If I see paintings I really like then getting a premium painting every month til I have a nice stash of them. Thinking of DAC, Dreamer Designs and budget friendly quality Coodeals.
Love your videos & hearing all that you've accomplished with your move. Question: how do you handle getting rid of deep ridges in your DP's made from the way they are originally folded? I'm new at DP & really need help with this. Thank you
@@tylondon6065 There are a couple of things to try. I put my canvases under something heavy - usually books, though I’ve seen people say they put them under their mattresses. Leave them for a few days and the creases flatten out. If they are more stubborn, I’ve seen people say they’ve ironed the canvas. I’ve not done it myself, and you have to be super careful - iron on the backside only, use a towel, and use low heat, because you don’t want to damage the adhesive on the other side. Thanks for watching!!
I'm in New Zealand, the only goal I have in 2025 is to buy a diamond art club kit! They are very expensive for us here in New Zealand but that's just one thing I want to do. Obviously entering events and doing those too - 100 partials for Diamond Painting with Jack, The Lounge with Annette. Hoping to get my subs on my you tube channel up to 250 maybe.
@@sylviakanel9766 Hmm, I think I posted a pic somewhere, but I don’t remember if it was on IG or FB. I’ll post a pic in the FB group if I haven’t already. Thanks for watching!!
She is sooo cute! 😊 2025?! When? Where? What? lol...2024 went by tooooo fast! My only dp goal is to NOT buy anymore dp's for any reason or amount or fundraiser, etc....and to work diligently on enjoying my stash....Of course.... I already have dp's in my stash for my 2 fav. events next year (#dpforpets2025 in June & #dpfor veterans2025 in Nov.) 👍😁 Any videos coming for your new channel?
Still causes an issue with auto focus when you work right directly under the camera. When you place the drill the picture blurs then clears when your hand moves away. A little nauseating.
Great goals progress giving the move...tfs
For the past 2 years I have been working on getting my stash down. I started with 109 and currently I have 53 diamond paintings.
Congratulations! 😃👍🏼🥳
