Sas just had a good lead in eco with the early dock and killing more villagers than lost. I think that advantage in eco and the castle age all in with the royal institute made it viable for the cavalry to outrade spearmen and crossbow because of royal bloodlines and a better eco to keep knight numbers high. If he didn’t have royal institute or had equal eco, the knight mass wouldn’t be large enough methinks.
You could be right but in the last fight he had like 40 xbows and 25 spears and he got decimated by 30 knights. It was a little too favorable for the knights in my opinion
@@sandycheeksyaboi9906he shouldn’t have pushed out after the keep went down. I think we underestimate, how much work those 4-5 springalds did on the infantry line. I think he ought to have rewalled, maybe slap down another tc to catch up in vills and go to imperial.
@davaa31 horseman no as they are the weaker cavalry unit in the games heavy knight right now with current infantry upgrade does and easily, cataphract does beat spearman, elephant does too I dont know about Mounted samourai tough never saw or tried
@@davaa31 knight spam hasn't changed from the release of the game. became even worse with recent changes. idk what "meta" are we talking about, except for cav spam from all civs

Honestly no, Cavalry demolish infantry as of right now. Infantry fell a lot

it’s not just you drongo…it definitely has a cav, camel and elephant problem. especially after the last patch…
In my opinion, cavs is still weak, in particular in empirial age, everybody uses spearman cav. Knights are too expensive for, even French ones.
I honestly believe that cav is unbalanced.. Just too damn strong. Maybe Pikes should get buffed vs cav?

yeah cavarly are broken whats the point of a counter if they dont counter? most civs are unbalanced. only civ that is balanced is english.
