Absolutely amazing! Been watching from the beginning and there is so much detail I completely forgot about until this tour, The TMNT hideout powered by the Vestas wind turbine, @sweat, The exotic pet shop with the snakes all escaping, The man hiding on the balcony, the doctor performing the exam, the seagulls stealing chips, just to name a few of my favourites! All the detail is just phenomenal. It has been an amazing year for Brick Nottingham and I am looking forward to seeing how the city grows in 2022. Best wishes, and a happy and prosperous 2022 to you and Mrs Hood. 🎉🎊

So many details, things I like, the intricacies. You'll be happy to know that you're the only LEGO youtube that I watch regularly (as regular as month(s)-long breaks can be)! Airport is amazing, River Trent/Marina/Bay/Habour is amazing, Subway network (especially the tiled "regular" station) is amazing, and the train station platforms are amazing. I must say I love the areas around the first standing holes the best but still I'm quite excited for the areas you're going to finish! I like how we get to see everything in your videos. I bet next time you'll be ordering earplugs when you're turning all the power functions on for a tour :)
Also funny how the Wind Turbine uses (battery) power to "generate power".

  • @rbleisem

You need a storage track for your trains.
Bonus if you can relocated that train workshop to this location as well.
So, when are you going Gotham City, in terms of density?
You can also, always raise your old town section, so it all lays on a hill.
One corner is missing, the highway, but how would you even go that way?
On the other hand, you can also always add a big old English style railway bridge, that is crossing the city.
How you would get intercity trains on this high-track, I wouldn't know.
It's not as if you can make a mountain with a castle on top of it, to hide one of the two needed turning points
The other ends could maybe be hidden along the room edge and going down a few levels, that way you can add in some time delay on one end of the return train.
But it would be quite a bit of work.
As for your normal track, it's too bad your station doesn't have two platforms with three tracks laying in between them, since then you could have a cargo-train parking/passing track.
Figuring out how to add the above multi-level train track setup, might let you run more then two trains, ever heard of the term, shadow station?
It's a parking station on a hidden level of your tabel, like say a lower or higher, level.
And another fun idea you might want to keep in mind, a sinkhole.
Now I do wonder, I do wonder, I really do, wonder, where you parked your Tardis, you know.

For facade buildings, what minimum stud depth can they be to still have a reasonable and enjoyable interior amount going on? Your Ferrari tower, for example, or the condominium with the adulterer?

Really fun to be shown a look around your city. Clearly it looks like you’ve had a lot of fun designing it. You may have already answered these questions but will you be adding lights to the model or also painting the walls behind, e.g. blue sky / distant mountain range/ horizon line etc. (or even mirror the walls which might make it look like it goes on forever, to add some distant perspective?)

Your city is great I especially like the different levels I find that hard to incorporate into my own city, Will you be adding a grave yard to the city it could have good scene's.

Would the city look good if you extend train track because partly for your cargo train and you could have another train station, and other things.

Have you ever thought of putting a Zoo or a Petting Zoo in your city?

The farm has a lot of cute animals but I'm not a massive fan of zoos apart from for conservation. Animals are best in the wild.
Having said that I also have an Exotic Pet Shop so what do I know, haha!

    What a great city 👍👍
Where did you source the metal tread effect stickers you use on the subway stairs?
I have that very same street light truck, and some of the stickers including the metal tread one on the rear toolbox are starting to disintegrate.
Second question - how do you stop them doing that or at least unpeeling?

You got a absolutly unbelievable good looking city, and when i look at ppl that do this city builds. I cant stop wondering how dide you get this good? I play and built whit lego in my childhood and now mutch later in my life i got in to lego again and whould love to have a lego city, but dont have the cash/room or the skils for it. But always fun to see how mindblowing ppl can make ther citys. One thing i whould like to see is more on the farm im going to try my self to build a moc of a farm, but i have discoverd that the farm animals are WAY over pricet a goat is like 700 swedish and that is something lego need to do something about.

Very kind comments there, thanks. A goat is ridiculous because it's only ever been in one set. You can get new sheep from Bricks & Pieces for £1.50. Chickens and horses are ok too but cows are also quite expensive. It's supply and demand!

@@RobinHoodBricks Yea i know about the goat, but still, im i the only 1 that wonders why Lego will do stuff like that, just keep them in pruduktion so ppl dont need to buy them at crazy aftermarket prices. Well still the sheep if i need 5 just to say it is 8,43 pund here in sweden. and the less expensiv horse they got at lego is for 3,75 pund. I know this is toys, but just becuse ther is adults colecting and building stuff dosent mean that they can take stupid prices. I almoste think that Lego is starting to get a luxery toy than anything els. Yes i know that they need to pay the licens for some stuff, but come on you should not need to save a year just to be able to get some of your childhood most wanted sets :P

@@RobinHoodBricks yeah, it’s pretty full now, trying to add more details. I want taller buildings but my roof gets in the way so I’ve been concentrating on my subterranean levels.
