@@voggsp now that they nerfed speed the cpu is always gonna be there. Your dribble moves are more effective against the cpu in the sense that you don't need as much space/misdirection as you would for a real player

What’s the difference btw normal and basic animation. Most of my dribbles that all I can get and which one u recommend. Also what dribbling style.. power, quick, shifty?

I try to think of myself as a sim player but I will admit dribble moves are weakness in my game. Unfortunately 2KU just shows you how to do the moves but provides no context for them and doesn't really have a real training mode. I think this is just gonna be a deficit of mine in this game.

I'm coming to NBA 2K from the FIFA games. On FIFA, when you do skill moves, your right stick movements are always relative to the way your player is currently facing. Is that true on NBA 2K too?
Can someone explain me why after a skill the player I control stand there without doing nothing, I can't move, I can only pass or shoot, what's the problem?
I have never been able to get any dribble moves to work on 2k. If I can figure that out that would help tremendously but man they fuck the game up with non sense. Lay ups should not be missed. Heavily contested or not. These dudes in the NBA finish lay ups
..you can also perform fake pull back/behind the back..by holding RT/R2 flick RS down left(if the ball is in your right hand) then flick the LS up right..
If EA patched the Drive Camera..so that the 3 point line doesn't disappear (The closer the ball is to the rim) it would be a 2k/Drive hybrid..which is how the game should be played.

Behind the back step back. Use the trick button while you roll the stick in a u. Right before you switch hands press the step back button

Power cuz you'll have a slower dribble anyway, so your moves have to be minimal if not more precise.
