MIKE TRAMP talks Songs Of White Lion Vol. II, starting a band, a book in English, singing in Danish

Mike Tramp is best known as the voice of White Lion, giving us hits like “Broken Heart,” “Wait,” “When The Children Cry” and so many more. After gold and platinum record sales and world tours with bands like Kiss, AC/DC, Motley Crue and many others, White Lion would come to an end in 1991. Mike would form a couple bands like Freak Of Nature and Band Of Brothers, as well as releasing more than a dozen solo records.
On April 14, 2023, with the White Lion legacy nipping at his heels once again, Songs Of White Lion was released on Frontiers Records, which gave us a new look at some old classics. Now Mike is ready to give us another helping of updated White Lion songs when Songs Of White Lion, Volume II gets released on August 23rd on Frontiers Records.
In this interview, Mike tells us why he decided to re-record these White Lion classics, what it might take for him to be part of a band once again, how singing in Danish changed the course of things, and if we might see the autobiography translated to English.
