This song is so special to me. When I was still a new Chistian, I was asking the Lord to tell me that He loves me and I wont stop asking until I hear from Him on that very day. At around 6pm before I left from the office, while listening to music on my mobile, this song came up . The Lord, said I love you to me thru this song. It sent shivers down my spine. I knew it was the Lord! I ran to the toilet and cried so hard. I was so happy that day. It was an unforgettable experience. He is truly alive and He listens to our prayers.🙏❤️

My husband was abused physically and had cancer as a child, when i met him he stuttered so bad he could barely state his name. Today he speaks clearly, is cancer free, and a great father to both our children. The victory belongs to Jesus!!

Please don't be too quick to give up praying for Marty. Our son, Jordan Giles, graduated from Hillsong, came home on fire for God, then wandered from Him, church, and Christians for 8 years before he once again yielded his life to Jesus Christ, and fell more in love with Him than he had ever been. He was On Fire 🔥 for God and people before God took him home just over a year ago. All we as parents could do is love and pray for him, knowing that God loved him infinitely more than we do. And HE hasn't given up on Marty either!!!

This is the song I got saved to. I will never forget that moment. I was a drug addict for 10+ years and was in a Christian home for recovering drug addicts and during worship one night they played this song and I gave my life to Christ. Not saying that I havent had bumps in the road but Thank You Jesus for for your Everlasting Grace and Mercy. I know You are with me Lord!

To think that God is surprised by Marty's statement or action is not correct. Jesus paints a beautiful story of how a beloved son made a decision to leave his fathers home and explore the world and its exotic cultures and beliefs. Asking for the early inheritance was equivalent of saying he wanted to father to die early, because the inheritance was given at the time of the fathers death. So the father let's the son go, and lets him come to his decision that his rightful place is with his father and family. The beauty is that the FATHER ALWAYS HAD HIS EYES OUT FOR THE DAY HIS SON WOULD RETURN HOME. And one day Marty will return home to his Father, it might take him spending time with "pigs" to make him realize where he rightfully beleongs.

The dynamic of hillsong has changed so much and, while I know seasons change and I welcome that with open arms, the change in their music, church, conferences and the look of the group itself mirrors too much of the secular world. People will disagree and that's fine. I respect that but there's no sugar coating the Bible. I've even politely brought my opinions and questions to their Instagram, along with other concerned people, and their team deleted everything that was said.
