We got the chance to tour an organic dairy farm in Vermont on the US/Canada Border! This farm sells milk to Organic Valley which you've probably seen in your grocery store. 🐄
Magnolia how fun..... I love farms!!! How precious 💕 Praying for John and hope everything is ok? Hope Your doing well too. If you need anything let us know? Sending love & prayers 🙏
Love Organic Valley milk! Always try and buy organic milk. My grandparents were dairy farmers and had Holsteins, 🐄 Thanks for sharing and let JLR know there are MANY people praying for him and his doctors. Take good care!
What a Wonderful experience 😊 The baby calves are the cutest 😍 JLR with the "Holy Cow"🐮 😂😂😂 You two make the best Team 👏 Thank you for all the True Crime and Fun Adventure videos ❤️ Thank you for the update on JLR 🥰🙏🏼
@@sonyagraske376 You heard it from the man's own mouth. Sad reality, the babies really break my heart. As I understand the bond a mother cow has with her newborn calf. And for them to never get that, seems so cruel to me. They teach & encourage them to stand & take their first steps, hence why those two we saw right as they entered the place, were still struggling to stand up. No Mothers!!
Long ways from my grandaddÿ's farm days. Thanks Organic Farm I appreciate the learning curve this one offers as would many a city school child who don't get to go rural visiting. Freishan cows give good milk Thanks heaps. Love traveling with Magnolia and JLR. Stay well Love Peace and Respect
Interesting timing. I just happened to watch a video here on TH-cam just a couple days ago on the day in the life of an Amish dairy farm. Went through great detail of what all is involved. It's a lot of work. Wore me out just watching! Thanks for sharing this. I love cows.
I loved this video I lived on a dairy in Colorado matter of fact it was newly constructed and state of the art and this one is way above the normal regular way things are run love y’all
My uncle had a dairy cow farm. I loved going there when the cows were in the barn and time for milking. A lot of work and money goes into raising animals.
Omg how much fun!! Y’all are the best!! Those little babies are snuggled in their warming ovens lol. You two are going to be the best parents ever!! Thank you for sharing another interesting and fun loving adventure!! Love y’a!! ♥️🫶🏼♥️ 💙 I hope Jon is doing ok!! Let us know if you need anything!! 🩷
You two were here! 😧HOW did I miss this?! 😔I would have offered you places to stay, extended invites to grab a meal, a coffee, show you around VT/NH/ME. Happy to see you enjoying the cows & learning about our hard working farmers! 🐄 I’ll hope to catch up with you on your next trip northern NE! 😉
Sad reality of how baby calves are in fact treated on a lot of dairy farms. Those calves have not even figured out how to stand, which means they did not even get a chance to stay with their mothers long enough to have ever nursed. Their first milk from their mother is in fact the most important for their health & well-being. Odds are those two you saw that were alone, are in fact male (bull calf's). Those in the room in the tiny stalls are females they want to retain for the milking line. Thanks for taking us along & showing truths.
@@kate4biglittlevoices Yes, they will figure it out. But naturally the mother cow will lick them & encourage them and that helps them to stand, in my opinion from watching my own cattle.
There a lot of farms in Vermont. Sorry missed it. I am sure you were too farm from us. Glad you made it to the northeast. Sometimes make a trip of just to relax. It's beautiful up here. Cows have different attitudes.
Real milk, real dairy cows.. ❤ Fresians. Fun fact: Cows have the same gestational cycle as a pregnant woman. My Dad (lived on dairy farm all his childhood) was spot on when I asked him to calculate each of his grandchildren's due date.
And the male calves are useless to a dairy farm, in the US anyhow. They’re sold off to factories for cheap beef products and veal farms. 👎🏼. Look at the dairy farms in Scotland, a world of difference.
Babies are Taken from the mother who is chained back up so she can’t go to her baby when it’s crying. Farms won’t waste giving milk to male babies, no profit. Males are sold off weekly to cheap beef farms and veal factories. Gave up dairy products when I wrote a thesis on the carbon footprint left by large dairy farms and the treatment of the milking cows. 😢. Mothers live approximately 7 years and delivers 6 babies. Spends her entire life having babies that are taken away, while she’s chained back in place.
The cruelty that can be seen and the unseen cruelty is awful. Do research....we dont need cows milk that much. Goats milk is an alternative. Those babies broke my heart. Cant stand because on slippery flooring. And if theyre males, they are dead. Females bred every cycle until not productuve or sick and slaughtered. Most cows dont see 5.
Im a farm girl i always did farm work growing up and this makes me laugh to see jlr learn about farm cows lol he always so funny...❤❤ He should go visit the goats they the best and the horses but i already seen horses but jlr need ride a horse i would die that be the funniest thing 😂😂

Sadly, most of their life is exactly what we saw....

Please send JLR OUR LOVE 😅
So do these cows ever get to go outside in the sunshine and do they take care of their hooves?
Yes he said they go out in the fields starting in mid May. So they are roaming around now as we speak.
Seems most of their life is exactly what we saw, standing there or laying down chained up. Really sad to me.
I promised you all last night on X I would watch this, I'm a man of my word lol... Good vid 👏👍
Hey Scottie thank you & good to see you 👍
Do they need the heavy chain continuously?
Apparently, that is their life for the most part. Don't even get to raise their babies....
*8K* film qualitay
Sorry for the cow
This is so neat
JLR ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😘✌️
Poor babies take from their mom and never get to go outside
Don't even get to nurse from their mom....sad reality.
Hope JLR is doin alright
Hello can you help me to find work in farm plz I have more experience and I love this work?
Why are they chained?
so they never comes out?
Yes he says in the video they all go outside starting mid May so now they will all be out in the fields.
Reality, seems they are right where we saw them most of their life.
Magnolia, any updates on JLR? 🙏
Yes I posted a couple this morning on community posts. Looks like he's out of the woods & we're so relieved!
@MagnoliaInvestigates Great news, Magnolia, answered prayers! Thank you for this update. ❤️
So they stayed chained all the time?
They said they go out in the fields starting around mid-May
Do they not go outside?
Poor cows, what a miserable life! Separated from their babies also.
Exactly, those calves still trying to stand have never even had the chance to nurse from their mother.

100% cuteness 🩷
I hope JLR is feeling better and is ok. 🩷
That’s no way for an animal to live. ☹️ Poor cows!
Yes- we need to ban human consumption of cow milk under these conditions
