      Just a note, after exd5 in the first game e5 is already winning for White. i.e. d4 exf6 dxc3 Qe2 +- . Its a typical trap I have had in both blitz and classical chess.

    The difference between a top chess player like you, and amateur like me, is that you see moves for all your pieces (and your opponent's) while I get focused on just one or two.

    There’s a nice queen trap here 19:01 , you play a3, and after you move the bishop they take on b2 and you play Na4 winning the queen

    I just started playing this with the f3, it makes the London really fun to play and players seem confused by the pawn storm to the King side. It would be great if you'd do a video on just that aspect of the Jobava.

    In the Czech Pirc when he played Qb6 you castled. Had you gone a3 you would have set a queen trap. I fell into that trap a few times.

    At 20:12 i think if your pawn was at a3 you would almost trap his queen

    Thanks Alex, very instructive video. Is Hans Niemann's course worth it?

    • @AlexBanzea
      @AlexBanzea  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely learned a lot from his course. Of course you’ll need to make your own notes according to what opponents from your rating range play, but solid recommendations in all the main lines.

    why not playing bishop before knight making them think u just playing a London?

    • @damidam
      @damidam 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because early Bb5 is kinda main line now.

    • @martinlazaroff8670
      @martinlazaroff8670 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      2.Nc3 lets you go for 3.e4 if the opponent relinquishes control of that square on move 2, so you might be able to play with two pawns in the center. It happens frequently against players who are accustomed to the kings Indian, so you have the added bonus of making them play an opening (Pirc) that might be unfamiliar to them and is advantageous for white!

    • @AlexBanzea
      @AlexBanzea  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    In the first game, after 4. ... exd5? you missed 5. e5! which is completely winning! In my experience, this is a common trap from this move order so watch out for it
