Just a little tip for people trying to make fast cash: if you're good with the net, you can catch the bees that come out of the beehive and sell it for 5,000 bells, if I remember correctly.
When you get a beehive to drop, RUN NORTH. Open your pockets and take out your net, and hold A while looking south. When the bees get near, let go of A.
Eric Carl There's actually an easier way what you do is pull out your net and walk over to a tree and shake it from the front and when the beehive falls your character automatically turns to face the hive and that's when you swing and you caught yourself a bee it has worked several times for me but there was this one day that the beehive fell at a weird angle and I got rekt but other than that it works very well
i believe the flag should be blank, representing our new pallet. Maybe even every so often, we can add color to it, to show how far we have come since our plank plate. Maybe even have the first design be a tiny star, to represent out new hope, or to represent the star that will guide us on this amazing journey.

I remember when this series first started. I was in 7th grade (12 years old) and I absolutely adored this game. I bought a DS just for this game. I'm turning 17 next week, going to be a senior in high school this fall.. I haven't played this game in so long. Rewatching the series is a bit heartbreakingly nostalgic.
When a beehive drops, you can press start and select "Save and Continue." The bees go away but the hive stays and you don't have to worry about getting stung and can save medicine from the shop for when you have a sick villager.
Actually, Chugga, I'm pretty sure Tommy and Timmy are Nook's nephews. They are cute, though. I'm sorry, but I laughed my butt off when you got stung by bees. I'm scared of bees in real life, but bee stings in Animal Crossing are hilarious -- especially when it comes to the residents' reactions!
Coming back to this LP since I recently started playing New Leaf frequently again. A few days ago was my birthday, but I actually started my town that day six years ago. Late at night. Meaning, I couldn't pay Tom Nook for the down payment till the next day, so the mayor was sleeping in a tent for her first two days. Ah well. Anyway, I started playing because of these videos so it all works out!
I can tell, I'm gonna love Biskit and Stinky. Biskit's such a chill guy, and Stinky's name and like everything about him is so funny. You've got some cool villagers. I love that ending screen you put together, too, with the links and with your player character sleeping at all. It's a nice touch.

A lot of people see Nook as some evil tycoon, but I've always thought he was more like Scrooge McDuck: Well meaning but thrifty, gives you a job to teach you the meaning of hard work and as you pay off your loans and upgrade your house, he seems genuinely pleased that you're doing so well for yourself and encourages you to reach for ever greater heights of wealth.
I and my youngest brother have seven years between us and we've still been asked if we were identical twins. Of course, even with twins there is usually one that's older than the other, even if not by much (to my knowledge invariably, considering how narrow the exit is). This is likely the case with Mario & Luigi as well as Timmy & Tommy.
I have come to the conclusion that Chuggaaconroy is the best Let's Player of all time, and here's why. I really don't consider Let's playing a talent, because anyone could play a game and talk over it, really. It all comes down to whether you're good at making interesting commentary though. Chugga is very good at keeping that up. On top of that, he puts loads of effort into researching and making sure that it's enjoyable to watch. His recent projects really show his talent off. With Kid Icarus: Uprising being a very tough game to let's play, it goes to show that he tries really hard to make the series about the games, rather than making it more about himself, which many of the popular let's players tend to do nowadays. I simply can't grasp the fact that someone such as PewDiePie can have more than fifteen times as many subscribers as this guy has. Not bashing PewDiePie, just saying that Chugga deserves the number one spot more, if any let's player should be on top.
For the town song it should be Maple Treeway song from Mario Kart Wii because the town has a lot of Fall atmosphere and to me that song just seems it would fit in to Animal Crossing. Also when you were saying about how adorable Timmy is alls I thought of was the Smasher incident in Link's Awakening

The flag should be a paint palette of colors, but not just any colors. It should have colors that mean something or someone to you in your life... Like if you refer one of your best friends with the color blue, then you should include blue.

Tip: Every time the time ends in 4 (12:34, 8:54). A ballon carrying a present will appear from east or west. You can't get those until later, but if you have the net, you can go over to a cliff and press A, as it floats over head.

I think that your #chuggaacrossing let's play is a really good idea. Maybe in 2014 after every time you complete a lets play, you revisit animal crossing new leaf for a bit. And for your town tune you should have the Kakariko Village theme ( because I think this is a relaxing lets play... At least compared to Wind Waker or Kid Icarus Uprising.) As for the flag... I have no idea ( maybe something that has to do with... Xenoblade Chronicoles?)
I also agree with Kakariko Village theme being the town's tune. I want this game too. This is the first time that I really got to see a gameplay of Animal Crossing ever. And so far I love the look of the game and the game music.

I can say on thing.... Make the town flag "Destiny Burger!" as a play on the town name being Palette/Pallet as the picture is Ash holding a burger instead of a pokeball, as well as a blast from the past. Destiny Burger is in all our hearts.

because there are a lot of people, myself included, who just flat out don't like the game enough to watch it for a year- i'd like it if he did bonus videos to show off every holiday event over the course of a year, but he shouldn't make the main LP go on that long, most episodes would get boring

Rewatching this letsplay just let me get an incredible start in my village, I was able to do all the Isabelle tasks in a very short amount of time, and by day 2 I was able to get 100% citizen approval which I have never done before, and by day 3 was able to start public works, got an ordinance in place and Tortimer visited, best start ive ever had

I played the game, but I just wanted to know.
This makes me want to play ACNL again, but when I think of all the weeds I'll have to pull... and finding that my villagers have moved away... How is it that a game with fake friends could be so heartbreaking?
If you have TIY or later, you can pay to pluck the weeds, and only one of your villagers will move at a time.
This made me very nostalgic! When I first played New Leaf I played in winter because of christmas. My town's fruit was the peach too! Every time I see a New Leaf world with peaches in it I think of my first New Leaf town

I think that your #chuggaacrossing let's play is a really good idea. Maybe in 2014 after every time you complete a lets play, you revisit animal crossing new leaf for a bit.
And for your town tune you should have the Kakariko Village theme ( because I think this is a relaxing lets play... At least compared to Wind Waker or Kid Icarus Uprising.) As for the flag... I have no idea ( maybe something that has to do with... Xenoblade Chronicoles?)

Love that idea, mostly because a month would kinda be too short to see all the stuff there is to see in any animal crossing game, so yeah, hopefully he does that :D

I can say on thing.... Make the town flag "Destiny Burger!" as a play on the town name being Palette/Pallet as the picture is Ash holding a burger instead of a pokeball, as well as a blast from the past. Destiny Burger is in all our hearts.
Or maybe we should keep all references to that terrible anime out of this.

because there are a lot of people, myself included, who just flat out don't like the game enough to watch it for a year- i'd like it if he did bonus videos to show off every holiday event over the course of a year, but he shouldn't make the main LP go on that long, most episodes would get boring

Rewatching this letsplay just let me get an incredible start in my village, I was able to do all the Isabelle tasks in a very short amount of time, and by day 2 I was able to get 100% citizen approval which I have never done before, and by day 3 was able to start public works, got an ordinance in place and Tortimer visited, best start ive ever had
I think the town tune should be the first part of the 8 Melodies song from Mother/Earthbound Zero! That's what my town has, and It fits perfectly! (I have Animal Crossing Wild World)
