Get him a big aviary to fly about in outsoors. Can also give him a mate to mate with. Can't put in fest box and replace eggs with fake ones so they can go through breeding cycle. Also reduce light hours and put on basic plain diet so not stimulated to come into breeding condition. Too rich a diet and too many hours daylight will cause a bird to become hormonal and frustrated if can not breed.
