I had an Aiwa Hifi system with a three CD changer when I was a kid. When I realised I could take the white and red cables from my PS2 and plugged them into the back I was blasting Frequency out of it, definitely the best way to play! This and Paul Oakenfold "See It" were my favourite two tracks on that game!
Amazing tune - saw them at Glastonbury perform this in 2002 whilst having the time of my life!. Everyone went mental when they performed this one. Shout out to all that were there!
The Altogether along with the B-Sides is by far my favorite Orbital release. I think it shows their ability to bend genres and have fun with the music. It may be disjointed, but I think it shows their creativity. But to each their own!
Since I played Frequency before hearing this actual song, I can't imagine this without thinking it's a Frequency remix where someone went crazy with the axe, lol.
An incredible song, I've loved it since I first heard it in 2010. And I've loved the original song since I first heard it when it came out, good memories from my childhood! I remember humming the original in my head during my yearly summer trip to my father's place of birth, it was either 2001 or more likely 2002. I was going on walks through the green pastures in the rural area with my family, humming the song in my mind and imagining cartwheeling around like the girl in the video :) Years later, in the late 2000s I tried to look for the song that I hadn't heard anywhere in years, but I couldn't figure out the lyrics or the artist. And then one day in 2010 I decided to finally give a listen to an Orbital playlist that I had come upon several months earlier... And all of a sudden there was the song! The remix is obviously very different, with very little of the original song material and structure, essentially a different song. And a very good one!
It took me a little while to like this track. Since Trance pretty much got ruined with the Tiesto-fication of the genre around 1998 when I heard this, I thought WTF is Orbital doing... then it grew on me They are in fact taking a swipe at trance by calling it "Weekend Raver" remix... just like how we call people in the Army Reserves who "play army on the weekend one weekend a month" here in the US But they are taking trance music and filtering through Orbital's own lens and it became a brilliant track
You could do like me and check out pre-Tiesto/pre-supersaw trance. Like Vana Imago - Sintesi or Unreal - After Hours or Li Kwan - Point Zero. Good non-cheesy stuff.
Ven esa foto??
Didn't really like Funny Break. Then saw them at Glasto in whatever the frick that year was and this dropped. Didn't clock it was a remix of it until the "I touch stars" drop. Then everything went wonky.
I think it might have been 2010 or somewhere around that time. Once you get that bit older they all seem to merge together! I was definitely there in person and in spirit - flying around on LSD, Shrooms and a bit of cider amongst other things.
@@Lucasimo 😂 that’s true everything merges into one. I got this on vinyl in 2000 and used to play out free party raves. Such a beast on a huge sound system
AUTOCATCHER. MULTIPLIER. MULTIPLIER. AUTOCATCHER.

The best track in a mixed bag of an album.
I've always said even your favorite musical artist makes some shitty songs

Insides followed by the brown album are their best.
I have the album on CD and played this on Frequency back in the day.
"It's very nice" - Borat

EthanE3Eves Same honestly.
Still jamming this one
I still with this song in 2021!
So many memories to this track. An amazing remix of an already fantastic song. Forever grateful. Long live Orbital!

I remember hearing this on "Plastic Compilation" and it blew my mind away.... still does!!!
Great mix became a orbital fan after their song was the main intro theme on the film hackers(halcyon)
First heard it in FreQ, and now here it is. You sir, rule.
Thanks for this. I LOVE this remix, but the original tune is fantastic, too. And yes, I DID get here from Frequency, so whatever. ;)
I remember this song from playing Lunar jet man on the Spectrum 48k 'back in the day'.
I Remember Walking into this Club in Nawlin's LOL, and the DJ Just Dropped this Mix! 👍🏻👍🏻
You know these songs are really made by people not just by the really fun game frequency

She says "I touch stars" and "I reach the sky" from the original song.
