Wow pile number 4 spoke so deeply to me. My fam has significant mental illness and trauma, and narcissism and I fell into a role of caregiver/fixer with their constant drama and negativity. I finally liberated myself from that responsibility or feeling guilty after giving and giving with very little reciprocation (everything is always about them no matter what I’m going through) and with people who refuse to work on themselves, grow, or change, as I grew and changed and went after and succeeded at various personal and professional goals. Alright, I was hesitant but I will write what I have in mind. Pile number 4 is literally my story. I am coming from a very poor, disfunctional family. Started studying opera singing at the age of 17. Almost 20 years later I still struggle. I have a huge talent but no matter how much I train, I cannot get the grasp of it. The fact that I endured so much trauma in my family is also not helping. I live in Maine and was under the path of totality. It was amazing. #2- I am in the midst of about to make another big leap to allow myself to write full-time and retire from a 30-year career. I am currently writing my second novel which has been taking me forever, but I feel is my best writing yet. When you said the group of people I said community and you said it right after I said it out loud. I want to live on the lake surrounded by trees and I see it in my mind so clearly- write my novels and be surrounded by my "community" which would be my grown children and my close friends who I would want to live in cabins around me. Growing vegetables and living a more quiet life on the lake. I get signs all the time that this is what I am supposed to do. I do make changes and took a huge one in August- and since then a couple of my friends have done so too- even though it was terrifying. I sometimes struggle to make the next step because it's based on believing in myself and the path I know I am supposed to take, even though it's just a gut feeling. But I am doing it anyway. Wow pile number 4 spoke so deeply to me. My fam has significant mental illness and trauma, and narcissism and I fell into a role of caregiver/fixer with their constant drama and negativity. I finally liberated myself from that responsibility or feeling guilty after giving and giving with very little reciprocation (everything is always about them no matter what I’m going through) and with people who refuse to work on themselves, grow, or change, as I grew and changed and went after and succeeded at various personal and professional goals. Alright, I was hesitant but I will write what I have in mind. Pile number 4 is literally my story. I am coming from a very poor, disfunctional family. Started studying opera singing at the age of 17. Almost 20 years later I still struggle. I have a huge talent but no matter how much I train, I cannot get the grasp of it. The fact that I endured so much trauma in my family is also not helping. #2- I am in the midst of about to make another big leap to allow myself to write full-time and retire from a 30-year career. I am currently writing my second novel which has been taking me forever, but I feel is my best writing yet. I want to live on the lake surrounded by trees and I see it in my mind so clearly- write my novels and be surrounded by my "community" which would be my grown children and my close friends who I would want to live in cabins around me. Growing vegetables and living a more quiet life on the lake. I get signs all the time that this is what I am supposed to do. I do make changes and took a huge one in August- and since then a couple of my friends have done so too- even though it was terrifying. I sometimes struggle to make the next step because it's based on believing in myself and the path I know I am supposed to take, even though it's just a gut feeling. But I am doing it anyway. I had pile number 2. Funnily enough, I woke up feeling like I wanted to get rid of the self-gaslighting that comes from traumas in my past and start outlining each of my chapters before I write them. I am also working on my yoga certification, which I plan to add to my writing coach program. I'm more interested in inspiring others to heal themselves and create the world they want than fame, but I'm also mentally preparing for fame, as I will likely have a few fans by the time my 13-book series is complete. I also have a couple of other books in the same world that I've started. It's so fun to have this world, and I thank you for your videos. They often have the same thoughts I have, so it's a validation of sorts. Maybe cognitive bias, but who cares if it inspires me to change my behaviors and be a better me?
