I have had my O Cedar mop system for about 4 years now. When I first starting using this mop I had the same problems with spinning the mop and having to hold onto the handle and picking up the bucket and it tilting. I figured out later that I was having these problems because I was using the mop system wrong. Spinning the mop. You dont hold onto the handle loosely, the top of the handle where you able to hang the mop, spins. You hold onto that very top red piece and spin it out that way. Also fixes the mop being too wet problem too To balance the bucket place the mop in the spinner and then lift and carry. The bucket is perfectly balanced when the mop is in the spinner. Also carrying it this way frees up one of your hands. The only thing I think that the O Cedar is missing is wheels.
Owning a cleaning service I have tried many brands of these kinds of mops but I prefer the O Cedar one out of all of them. The foot pedal mechanism holds up to being used everyday/lasts the longest. Plus the shape of the mop head is great because it gets into the corners the best.
I own the O Cedar (mine is branded as Vileda, but I can see it's the exact same product, I think it's the exact same brand but under a different name here in Canada) and I agree about that. Has been using it for 3 years and it's still going strong. I really don't understand how she does make a big deal about needing to loosen your grip when spinning, never bothered me the slightest from day one. You just hold the handle lightly so it doesn't fall and that's it.
I am shopping around because my O Cedar's mop head flops around and the pole is far too cheap and short for my cleaning jobs. I also wear rubber gloves so spinning it dry gets tricky when my gloved hand sticks to the pole and it causes the pole to jam and fly into my face. Plus no wheels to aid the movement. I ended up getting the green Libman spin mop. Sturdy mop head when mopping with long full mop head microfiber yarn. Also has a longer metal mop pole. Metal spin bowl a plus and pole unscrews to easily store and carry it. I like the spinning via pole apparatus instead of foot pedal too. It was a great price. No wheels but it isn't heavy at all. Made in America too. The end. 😊
We love O-cedar, we are a small local cleaning company in PA, and we started with the Hurricane 360 which was not a bad mop it was just a bit overpriced when it first came out, then we had to order them and it was just not as accessible, so drove down to home depot and pick up the O-cedar for about $35 dollars, the pros about this mops are the size of them compare to your standard mop buckets you could easily carry this up and down steps and move around, the O-cedar is perfect not only for floors but we also use it for walls, wall trims, ceiling fans its just such an amazing tool. fun note, i noticed you run into the same issue while transitioning from the self spinning handles to the O-cedar, since the O-cedar is not a self spinning mop you can not hold it tight while spinning which at first we were a bit annoyed by, but over the time it just make sense, and not a problem at all to us, we carry about 2 or 3 of these buckets at times and have purchased about a 100 of these in just a 2 year spawn they are worth the money for us, we clean about 3 to 4 house a day so we do a lot of mopping :) . check us out at www.eandecleaning.com
For those of us that can’t lift much, thanks for showing the volume of water each system uses. (A gallon of water weighs 8.3 lbs.) I have loved my Mopnado for years, but it’s now too heavy for me to lift and dump. Based on this review, and others, I’m moving on to the O Cedar.
Overall a really good review of each of them, but I was a little surprised that you didn't try out using the mops to clean a floor to see how well they work?
True! Most of these mops can't be PUSH/PULLED as they just flop around like a dying trout. The only thing that works is a SIDE to SIDE mopping action which really kills my back!!
@@CinHalCedHerChance, Some people have bad backs from working hard . I have a bad back from doing construction and cleaning , but I’m very fit . Mopping is hard on me going side to side as well. I exercise a lot . Exercise has nothing to do with back pain unless someone isn’t careful.
I have the O Ceder. I love it, and in my price range for a mop. I don't like my mop bone dry but not to wet, since I have a messy toddler that likes to spill juice and other drinks and food on the floor. I find two spins with it is perfect for me. The mopnado looks fantastic and easy to move around, but not spending 60$ on a mop lol.

Also not trying to be a YT celebrity w/ cloying cuteness. Chef John has his shtick (of silly, often really funny jokes), and I love it, but it has to come naturally.
Well done! Your review was very thorough, well thought-out, and presented well. I have owned the Mopnado for several years, and it is definitely the last mop I will ever have to buy. When I think about the number of mops I have purchased and thrown away over the past 40 years, it makes the Mopnado seem like a bargain.
Nice comparable review. I own a Mopnado and have had it two years. It hasn't broken down on me yet, and I use it every other week or more. It's pricey, but reliable. It's a little heavy to use, but compared to the others, the quality is best. The plastic is tough stuff.
Terrific job comparing the different brands. Agree with your favorite since that is the one I bought (before viewing this video) after reading reviews on Amazon. Had my Mopnado for about 2-3 months now and LOVE IT, don't know what I'd do without it since I foster puppies for a rescue and do LOTS of clean up! Again, GREAT JOB!
Thanks for your work on this review, I feel better about having bought the Mopnado already. Besides the items you rated, I like that the Mopnado mop head has plenty of material in the center, so that it doesn't scratch around on your floor. Also, you can get it as dry or as damp as you want by varying the speed and length of time you spin it in the wringer basket. I especially appreciate the wheels on the bucket and pull handle. I live in a one-story home with a lot of tile, all connected, so being able to roll the bucket around is a plus for me.
excellent review. i own both the twist and shout and the mopnado. for everyday mopping in the kitchen, front foyer, etc the twist and shout wins because of it's portability, no frills design and stores in my kitchen sink cabinet. the mopnado has better features, but is bigger, more cumbersome, so psychologically, feels more like a chore.
Thanks so much for reviewing these mops. I have hesitaed to buy any of them because I didn't know how they worked but have a clearer understanding now. Good job!
Absolutely WONDERFUL review, the side-by-side, comparing the fill & function... extremely well done, thank you! This offered me so much more than any other info I have scoured through, including manufacturer sites. Thank you!

I was going to buy the Hurricane only because I wasn't aware of the other options out there. Thanks for taking the time to make this video, it definitely helped me with my choice.
Great reviews, I am happy to see the bucket is stainless steel. I love all the features. I was hoping you would have tested using the mop though. Thanks for the review.
thank you for a video without music and just talking quickly about the products. Your video was excellent. Again thank you for no music and not jabbering on and getting to the point. I LOVE IT.
I purchased the hurricane spin mop for about $40.00. This is the best mop I have ever used! Lightweight and easy to fill and empty. Did an excellent job on tile and hardwood floors. I used warm water with a little dishwasher detergent and a little vinegar.
@Little Foot you control how dry the mop gets for one. Also, this comment is so old that I don't know why you aren't looking at newer products, you're the weird one.
Ocedar it is 100% Quality, durability, easy use, results perfection, sooo lovely. Their brand is called Vileda in Europe. You think you hate cleaning until you discover their products. I bought ocedar option today with 2 extra refills in Bjs for 30. I loved their option of flat one too, but they dont make thrm anymore. Lasted me 5 years of cleaning. Their brand should say 🌸 when cleaning is a pleasure 🌸
what I like about the o cedar is that it isn't round like the others so I would think it's easier to get into corners better compared to the round mops.
Thug Life i have an o cedar.. great ez cleaner system .. i use it really wet ..then spin the mop dry and then dry the floor quite a bit..great for tiles ...okay thats the pro..the con is that ive been using the bucket for maybe a year and the pedal gear is stripping out..have to buy another compleat bucket and mop as they dont just sell the bucket ..but will do just that..oh and im still on the original mop head..seems as good as new
My o cedar spin bucket also broke. Now I have to replace the whole thing. I like the o cedar, but will consider my next purchase. I have two mop heads and would like to be able to use them.
IMHO I like the O’Cedar because of the triangular design of the mop head, it fits right into corners and makes cleaning close to walls, kitchen cabinets and straight edges much easier. All of the other mops have rounded mop heads. If you don’t like that the mop spins when straining, just hold it very loosely it really isn’t that big of a deal. Also, the directions for use are on the box flaps.
Kelli I don’t think the material of the mop will do any difference? In terms of cleaning, I think we should look for what kind of solution works best for your floors.
I read many reviews and agreed that the Mopnato looked like it would hold and last. Also it had the features I wanted, a metal spin basket, the wheels, and a pulling handle. I love it, BUT IT IS GOING BACK.. The bucket pulling handle broke the first time I used the mop. I will repurchase the same mop. I do love it but I will cry foul if that handle breaks again.
Fantastic review. I'm in the market for a spin mop and, so far, this is the most complete comparison I have seen. Thanks for doing an outstanding job and helping me make a decision.
Excellent review on durability! You addressed a number of issues there and that is not often mentioned in reviews. I'm relieved to see the differences and you did a great job on that. There was one very important aspect never addressed though: how well they clean floors. We only got to see the bottom of the mop head on one of them (can't remember which, maybe Cedar). One common complaint I've seen about so many of them is that there is some scratching of the center piece of the bottom of the mop head on the floor. It would have been nice to see what you thought on how each handled as you mopped and the results. Mop head quality (e.g., fluffiness) may look a certain way but actually clean another way. Another thing are mop head replacements. Are they universal or brand specific? Finally, right off the bat you mention "this washing machine thing" when none of them, except the very last had it. I had no idea what you were talking about and that became rather tiresome to wait nearly 20 minutes to find out. I think if you had explained it well, or just not mentioned it at all until the end and say "this was the only one that has this extra feature" it wouldn't have left me distracted trying to figure out what you were talking about. My intentions are not to complain though, and hopefully it doesn't sound like I am. Just some constructive criticism, which I know was not requested, but it is gently meant I can assure you. You really did a great job and answered most of the questions I had about the differences.
magnoliasouth hi I have the Oceader an press down a lot to scrub my floors an it doesn't scratch my floors! I have bought count less mops even steam an I love this one the best! I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
I think it's really very personal. I read a lot before I bought my mop. I ended up choosing one that I def could return if I didn't like it. Lots of pros and cons, but I have not encountered any problems people were complaining a lot about, go figure...
Thank you. Great review! I just bought the O Cedar and find it difficult to use. Wish I would have found your video first. I will know better next time.
I live in England and have had several of these mops. The one I have now, is designed with two buckets that separate. That is so the dirty water does not go back in the same bucket. Although this is a good idea, the only drawback is that it does not hold much water. Also, you have to be careful as they separate quite easily, which my son found out when he lifted the bucket to empty. The bucket with the dirty water came away and went all over him. Also, it has a little screw in plastic cork, that is to make it easier to empty. The only trouble there, is that the dirty water comes out very quickly and over your hand. If they could design this so it has a larger capacity and more securely so buckets do not separate too easily, as well as not getting dirty water over your hand, that would be fine. I have recently gone back to the conventional method of a squeezy mop, as I don't have to bother about a bucket and just run it under the tap, which make it a lot more hygienic.
I have had the Twist and Shout for a couple of years now and really like it. It has held up very well. I don't mind the small amount of wobble when it is spinning. It's really a non issue. Handle is plenty strong enough for me. Also, the lengthwise handle makes it easier to balance when picking it up.
I have it as will, for five years now still going strong. I love it! The color, sturdiness and you don’t have to use your foot to pedal it dry. Plus I don’t know if she knows, it has a life time warranty. I do wish it was angled for the corners like the Ocedar.
WOW!!!! Very good review. This really helps a lot. Thank you very much. I'm currently using a swiffer type mop and just feel one of these spin mops would get our floors cleaner.
I absolutely enjoyed your review. I've been searching for an updated type of mop. My only concern about your rating for the dryness of each one is misleading. Because when you Mop, you want to have a lightly damp mop and not a dry mop, otherwise just use a broom or Swiffer dry sheets. When cleaning floors, you want a wet mop (not soaking of course). Thanks for your time.
I actually bought the Hurricane Spin Mop a few years ago and I loved it a little bit smaller butt I like the way it worked I had an all tile house so I love using it I think I paid about $40 for it and after about two and a half years the bucket broke which I think is a good amount of time for only $40
I love my o cedar I like the shape of the head for corners. I also like the pivot of the mop. I like to use it for walls. I wonder how the others pivot. Thanks for the reviews! Great job.
I love the o cedar only problem I've had is the handle comes out of the mop fairly easy. Pops out on me all the time. Any suggestions on how to stop that would be nice. Other then that I'm happy with it
@@aimeewilson6976 I sent email :). My mopnado worked well for a moment but I abused it i'm sure and the spinning mechanism on the mop itself got rusted or something. It stopped spinning so well, keeps jamming. Im sure its something related with the head. I almost feel like these are ideal for small area cleaning (bathroom and kitchen. I was using it to clean entire house (hardwood floors) and I think I over used especially since I didnt do any maintenance besides washing the head. I went back to the standard mop/bucket since I have so much space to cover plus I can more aggressively clean floor since its wood handle and stronger head. The video and your presentation was still amazing. I would use for spot cleaning or even bathrooms or areas on a secondary floor so I wouldnt have to bring the main mop setup to multiple floors.
I'm in the market for a new mop, and this video was SO helpful in helping me decide which one to buy. Very informative and thorough, it answered all of my questions. Thank you! I wish all reviews were as good as yours!
This is a great review. I like how you explained the differences in each category and even had a chart at the end for reference. I appreciate the inclusion of the height differences as my sons and husband are all over 6 feet tall. The only suggestion I might add is to include the prices.
For first review video this is pretty good, what I like is that you were thorough and you did all the work and save me the guessing, buying cheap but not worth the reduction in price. Thank you
I have the Oceader an I love it! It came with 4 mop heads the thing she didn't know what it was does go on the top of the mop so you can hang it! The handle is very strong I scrub a lot the handle is strong too I love it! You can leave it really wet or spin it 5 pumps and it's pretty dry! I'm 5'1! But I would buy it again an also give it as a gift! ❤️️❤️️❤️️ an I got mine at Sams for $35.00-40.00! P.s it does get in corners really well!! An I scrub my floors really hard lol I have 4 inside dogs an 2 kids!
I just bought aVileda spin mop, I was using just swifter wet jet before, got rid of it and bought the Vileda (canada) I love it, got it atWalmart for $ 39.00. It does a great job on my hardwood floors. Just use baking sofa and vinegar in bucket, gets a great shine!🌻
I keep wondering how people wash their mophead in the washer? .. do you put any other items in with it or all by itself? Seems if washed with other items that would be nasty and a lint problem .. if washed alone it will make an imbalance problem for the washer. 🤔
Yep, I think I'll be contributing to landfill waste with O-ceder. Mopnado is the win. Love the washing machine function. It's the fancy version of a disctinued model I've liked for years. Thank you 😎
Thanks Ive been holding off on getting a mop because I want the best one and couldnt decide.I didnt want to end up getting a different one a year later.
Thank you for the very thorough review and comparison! Overall wonderful job, and really appreciate this. As a new spin mop buyer, I will be leaning towards the Mopnado and Spin Pro. Thanks again!
Thank you for such an excellent review I've been looking for one of these for a while and couldn't make up my mind but thanks to you review I've decided on the one that you like the most thanks again
I think your video was very helpful and you explained each pro & con for each unit. I would agree after watching, MOPNADO would have been my choice as well. Great job, thanks for your time!

I'm with you a -100%!!! I was doing the very same thing & Sweet Rachel & her Fabulous demonstrations with each of these products made my choice one of the easiest ever too!!
I'm backing up your review of the Mopnado. I just got mine and it is an excellent product. I purchased it on Amazon after researching and loved your review of the different mops. I did not find anything on it that was flimsy at all. The pull handle, which I wasn't sure about, is very sturdy. I have arthritis in my hands and they're not strong enough to wring mops. Mopping is never fun but, this mop turns it into an easy chore for me. Thanks for your excellent review. Adding it to my other research, it was the deciding factor for me in purchasing this mop. The Mopnado is definitely worth the cost. :)
That was a really good review of all the mops. I really liked your dislikes and likes. The only question that I left myself asking is if you could use the brush and the mop at the same time? My husband like to mop the floor with a sponge mop and that is one thing he really likes. He likes to be able to flip it over and use the brush and then go back to moping with the sponge without changing the head.

I purchased the hurricane spin mop for about $40.00. This is the best mop I have ever used! Lightweight and easy to fill and empty. Did an excellent job on tile and hardwood floors. I used warm water with a little dishwasher detergent and a little vinegar.
"Lightweight and easy to fill and empty" sounds like what I am looking for, as the garage floor will need several refills of clean water.
Great video, so many incompetent people have no business making review videos so this concise review was a breath of fresh air.
Really awesome, in-depth reviews. Thanks for taking the time.
definitely getting the mopnado.great review, I wouldn't change anything about it.
@Little Foot you control how dry the mop gets for one. Also, this comment is so old that I don't know why you aren't looking at newer products, you're the weird one.
These is one of the best review I have seen, good job! You confirmed what I though so I'll purchase the mopnado
Ocedar it is 100%
Quality, durability, easy use, results perfection, sooo lovely.
Thug Life i have an o cedar.. great ez cleaner system .. i use it really wet ..then spin the mop dry and then dry the floor quite a bit..great for tiles ...okay thats the pro..the con is that ive been using the bucket for maybe a year and the pedal gear is stripping out..have to buy another compleat bucket and mop as they dont just sell the bucket ..but will do just that..oh and im still on the original mop head..seems as good as new
Yan Sfor can you machine wash the mop head?
My o cedar spin bucket also broke. Now I have to replace the whole thing. I like the o cedar, but will consider my next purchase. I have two mop heads and would like to be able to use them.
Our spin mechanism (pedal) froze. I e-mailed the company and they sent me a new bucket. You may want to give that a try also.
3 years of use and no problem with the pedal.
Love my Hurricane 360 mop. Really durable. Works excellent. Best mop I ever purchased. Light and easy. I would like a scrub brush attachment.
Sls Nmp I
No need to hold loosly , dont hold the mop in the middle, it has a gray holder at the top to hold it while spinning.

But how do they each do with cleaning a floor! we buy mops based on how well they clean not how well they ring out
Kelli I don’t think the material of the mop will do any difference? In terms of cleaning, I think we should look for what kind of solution works best for your floors.
Kelli 😂😂right and I’m mad I watched the whole video
It does.
I was wondering the same thing what if it scratches the floors it seem like not all the bottom are full
And what if the mopnado will rust over time
I read many reviews and agreed that the Mopnato looked like it would hold and last.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
magnoliasouth
I think it's really very personal. I read a lot before I bought my mop. I ended up choosing one that I def could return if I didn't like it. Lots of pros and cons, but I have not encountered any problems people were complaining a lot about, go figure...

You did an amazing job, … Very well presented, easy to follow and the most information I got out of any video I looked up on the subject
Thanks I am going to get Mopnado for my mom . I almost bought O-cedar .
Thank you Rachel. You chose good things to compare and did a good job demonstrating. I like the summary at the end. Good job.

@@leticiaruvalcaba-arballo3181 I don't think it would work if it were angled because of the soft "strings". They would still not get into corners.
Ty for the review! I decided to go with the True & Tidy SPIN-800 TrueClean Mop and Bucket System!
Excellent comparison and Thank you for all your hard work!
I’m just glad I ain’t gotta be on my hands n knees scrubbing with a brush.. ijs..everyone stay safe❤️
Thank you so much for this review. To see them unboxed and side by side was soooo helpful.
WOW!!!! Very good review. This really helps a lot. Thank you very much. I'm currently using a swiffer type mop and just feel one of these spin mops would get our floors cleaner.
I'd love to see a comparison between the mopnado and the linkyo spin mop.
But how do they CLEAN? 😘I love my hurricane spin mop. It really cleans well. And I bought the dolly so I whipped through the house.
But super dry is also needed since wet floor is slippery and dangerous for kids.
But I guess she didn't dry the mops too well?
Jennifer i agree with you.
I actually bought the Hurricane Spin Mop a few years ago and I loved it a little bit smaller butt I like the way it worked I had an all tile house so I love using it I think I paid about $40 for it and after about two and a half years the bucket broke which I think is a good amount of time for only $40
This review was very useful, thank you so much for putting in the time to make this! :)
Excellent review of these products, thank you so much! I just ordered the MOPNADO.
Great review. I think not liking the foot petal is rather strange. Its not hard to work it. I wish she would have given a price of each.
I love my o cedar I like the shape of the head for corners. I also like the pivot of the mop. I like to use it for walls. I wonder how the others pivot.
Thanks for the reviews! Great job.
fabulous review!!! This saved me SO much time in research! This was a fair comparison, very thorough, and no too long!! Thank you!
I love the o cedar only problem I've had is the handle comes out of the mop fairly easy. Pops out on me all the time. Any suggestions on how to stop that would be nice. Other then that I'm happy with it
This is one of the best review videos that I've ever seen. Honest no extra blabbing straight forward. I loved it
Amazing review! I was so interested in O Cedar but looking to get that Mopnado especially since it comes with scrub.

Thanks for the review...was looking at the ocedar, but I changed my mind.
This is a great review. I like how you explained the differences in each category and even had a chart at the end for reference. I appreciate the inclusion of the height differences as my sons and husband are all over 6 feet tall. The only suggestion I might add is to include the prices.
+Gia Oke-Bello The prices are in the chart, 3rd column
Thanks for doing all the hard work and thanks for a great review. I see that this was done a year ago, how has the Mopnado held up?
Thanks for the video. I have the Twist & Shout for a while now. 5 years and still works. 🤣
Thanks for doing this! I saw an infomercial for one of these on TV this morning and good to see the 'other side' of the story.
For first review video this is pretty good, what I like is that you were thorough and you did all the work and save me the guessing, buying cheap but not worth the reduction in price. Thank you
But how well do the mops clean? And how long do the mop heads hold up after usage those are qualities I would like to know as well.
Me too
I have the Oceader an I love it!
She prefers the lock on the handle but i prefer the handle spinning because i dont want to be forgetting to lock and unlock the handle everytime time
Great review.... I was checking out the Hurricane Mop, saw your review on YT . Thanks for posting the comparisons it helps a lot!
Have been using Twist and shout for 6 months and still going strong ! Seems well built and I recently washed the mop head in the clothes washer ...
I keep wondering how people wash their mophead in the washer? .. do you put any other items in with it or all by itself? Seems if washed with other items that would be nasty and a lint problem .. if washed alone it will make an imbalance problem for the washer. 🤔
Great presentation! Thank you for all your hard work in creating this.
Thanks ever so much for the reviews. Am in the market now. Truly appreciate it!
The red piece to the O Cedar goes on top and that's what you hold while the rest spins. Just FYI ;)
I can't get my O'Cedar handle to lock. Ideas?
Well done... Thanks for making this video
Yep, I think I'll be contributing to landfill waste with O-ceder.
Mopnado is the win.
Love the washing machine function.
It's the fancy version of a disctinued model I've liked for years.
Thank you 😎
Great review with many interesting points. Still useful 7 yrs on. Thanks
I just used this for the first time ave to sat I just love it. I have narrow spaces to get into and with the round head it did beautiful.

Thanks you for your help. I just purchased the mopnado
Rachel, I think you did a fantastic job with your review. I believe you covered all the concerns anyone would have with the purchase of these spin mops. I hope you continue with reviews on all types of different products.
We use the O cedar w/ the wash insert for clean water !! We have a large 2b/rm wood floor house & 2 Great Danes !!
We Love Our O - Cedar w/ the insert but may try the Hurricane 3 for our bigger 3 b/rm house 👍🏼👍🏼
O Cedar and the Hurricane now have agitators, plus one version of the O Cedar has clean and dirty water separation.
Thank you for an excellent product review of a product. Short and to the point, yet easy to understand and enough information to make up your mind. Job well done!!!

Do any of these have separate compartment where dirty water goes
No. Same as my green one without wheels
The o cedar brand has one with that option
Great review. I have the OCedar and love it. Just curious why how dry the mop feels after spinning was a criteria.
First review? It was awesome!! You should do more! VERY thorough review!
WONDERFUL review! Thank you. I especially liked the mop head comparisons
Thank you for this demo, very informative
THANX !! Great Job !!!!! I was surfing to get info on these and now I know just what to get !
This was an EXCELLENT review! Thank you!
That was a really good review of all the mops. I really liked your dislikes and likes. The only question that I left myself asking is if you could use the brush and the mop at the same time? My husband like to mop the floor with a sponge mop and that is one thing he really likes. He likes to be able to flip it over and use the brush and then go back to moping with the sponge without changing the head.
thank u for making this review! this really helps me deciding!
