Even if I'd prefer my partner to be the monster, and even if vampires aren't _particularly_ my thing, I do think the act of "feeding" is a very fascinating dynamic, and the reason shown here.
Truly, just about _anything_ that can be analogous/similar to _being eaten_ (not just having a vampire suck your blood) is quite terrifying - after all, it goes against your survival instincts in the most direct way, while also making you afraid of _those very same instincts_ to "keep living" controlling someone else. Because of that, such acts require an immense amount of _trust_ to perform with a partner, a friend, a family member, and so on, as you are quite literally throwing your life in the jaws of death. However, in return for that immense trust, these experiences - whether they be licking, nibbling, feeding, or even something as exotic as being held _inside_ the mouth of a larger being - can become a weirdly _intimate_ experience that brings you closer together.
