Thanks! Watched 10 videos trying to figure out this pedal (especially how to reduce or eliminate the DETUNE elements)...and this was by far the best one and the ONLY one that simply and adequately answered my question! 👍
What a masterstroke opening with an ambient Carpenters rendition. 👍😎 You are a Superstar (no pun intended 😂😂😂). Very useful additions to the original of this pedal. I really dig the dark mode, I just couldn't see it living on my board just for that. Although, it is very tasty. Thanks Burgs. 🙏 Edit: Only now I've seen in the next vid the 'full' version, really enjoyed the track and your sonic youth take toward the end - distorted bliss. Sweet!!! (I'm gonna try to work out the track myself right now and play in this style).
Just love it that you demo with a tune that fits the pedal perfectly, instead of some generic blues b0lløck5 that most reviewers do. And to hear a great technical player like yourself namecheck Sonic Youth and Kevin Shields is a joy, tbh. The pedal sounds immense in your hands! Cheers, Brett.
I'm trying to find a way to get that Fractal A. Space Verb patch kind of sound - without having to fork over 3000 $. I've watched every video you'd ve made on these ambience style reverb pedals, and I'm wondering which one (or ones) would best get to that huge orchestral sound you get with Space Verb. I'm looking at the Slötva, the GFI Specular Reverb and Skylar, the Jet Revelation 2, the Lore, Keeley Caverns and a couple of others that you've demoed. I would really appreciate your advice on which pedals to consider most. Thanks and I love your video demos of all the gear out there!
The first thing to consider, I think, is that the Fractal algorithms are stereo. It's a lot to do with that wide, dimensional field spread. So the SLOTVA will get you into space, but it will be in glorious mono. The Revelation, Skylar and Specular Tempus are all stereo; the LORE is not and neither is the Caverns. If mono is not an issue, I'd go for the SLOTVA. If stereo is a must, I'd go for the Specular Tempus first as it does a few things - all of them very well - and enjoys updates from time to time. The Jet Revelation will put you into space quickly and easily and its stereo field is very beautiful. Ditto the Skylar - it's limited compared to the bigger Specular Tempus but it may be all you need. Cheers.
@@ericwixom7898 Haha...well I'd have to agree with Jelton, although I didn't give him a thumbs up, nor would I comment. I just don't like signatures on my guitars - fairly simple. 😊

Combination of Slotva and Marr Jaguar epic sounds!🙂🎸

Your use of fuzz with this pedal is exactly the sound I'm after. Quick straight to the point review. Nice one !

Great video Brett. Love Walrus pedals. I have a Fathom and a Monument and both are magic.
Thanks, Graeme!
Nice playing on the intro, great song choice too.
he plays very nicely whats the song name?
You’re the _Superstar_ for playing that song. *Love* it.
Sounds heavenly. Great demo, Brett!
Thanks again, David!
Burgs is the real Superstar amirite?
Great stuff.
wow beautiful sound and demo
Sounds very nice - Great demo Brett! Must have for me...
Damn. Love that modulation
Carpenters with a Johnny Marr guitar FTW.
Great take on the Carpenters tune.
Dreamy!
I love this pedal. I have the original one. If I had presets, like this one, I would certainly use it. But I have it set and always on my board.

OK, thanks very much! Very appreciated.
Love your work. The demos are always great with lots of really good playing and details. :)
I felt like hearing Karen's voice...
I love Walrus Audio
Can you do some acoustic guitar with effects pedal demos? Or how an acoustic would sound through modelers 🤷🏽♂️
Sure. I might have to do it with this pedal. Sounds like fun.
1 what can I say
That jag is beautiful, but I can not stand Marr’s signature on the FRONT of the headstock. Talk about an ego.
Can’t believe a douche-y comment like this received even one thumbs up.

Are you hurt?😂
