I believe there is a 10 step program for being a Citruholic now😂 I love these interviews with these og's and the knowledge they have! I really appreciate you showing us around Stan the citrus man's amazing garden!
I think I've failed the 10 Step around 4 times lol! It sure is fun to collect citrus. It was great to visit Stan after all this time. Thanks a lot for the kind words. I'm getting real close to making it up to you bud!
Yes, Stan is the man! I have ordered many times from him, he sends healthy, well packed plants. It's nice to put a face on the voice, to the man i talk to on the phone. Found him through you mentioning him to me. Enjoyed the walk through the orchard.
For sure! I bought a lot of trees from him when I first started out. Taking with him and a few other citrus old timers really got me hooked. I was really glad to visit him after all this time. Thanks to you for taking time out of your day to watch. I hope your trees are doing fantastic!
Stan the citrus man himself!!! Always a pleasure watching Stan and spending time with him. Thanks for Sharon brother, supposed to see him in a few weeks
It really is a blast to visit and chat with Stan. Somehow I let a lot of time pass by since i last dropped by. Enjoy your trip over to see him bro! Thanks!
Hi. Wow twenty years ago!!! You are a true pro and you have the time under your belt. Stan is awesome and has so much knowledge about these citrus plants. Wow a 1.00 sale. 👍👍👍 that is cool but yes inflation is everywhere. Awwww. Thank you for taking the butterfly outside. Stan has a big inventory. Hopefully I can visit Stan on one of my southern trips in the future. A fantastic interview. I do enjoy them and this is how I am learning some city’s names. Thanks for sharing. 💯💯👏👏👍👍👍👍
I guess time flies and so does our youth lol. Nice to get a little wisdom under our belts right Wanda! Yep inflation is terrible and seemed to have jumped by a really large percentage in the last 3-4 years. Thanks a mil again for your support!
Thank you for responding, let's continue to create new content about plants in the USA so that farmers in Indonesia will understand more and always be successful@@VirginiaFruitGrower
No doubt! They have hundreds of years of a head start on growing amazing citrus. I actually hope to return to Italy 🇮🇹 for a visit in the next couple years. Thank you kindly for watching Sam!
I love Stan McKenzie's trees I bought two from him years ago. They are great quality plants. I still have one planted, and growing outside in my zone 7A garden. It has not produced any fruit yet, but I'm still in wait. I want to try his cold-hardy lime that he showed on another person's Channel when they went and visited him.
Yes definitely quality plants and super fair pricing. What tree do did you get from him? The Carolina Lime is very promising too. I have a small tree but it hasn't fruited yet. Have a great week!
Must be nice to visit there and learn about stuffs in planting and growing plants. It’s so beautiful and interesting watching this one! Thankfully for sharing this video. Power on stay tuned and connected, many thanks.
Definite legend that I'm so glad to have been able to make a video with. Many thanks Brian for watching. One day I've got to see your trees too. Hope all is well 🙏
Hello my friend thank you for sharing. Wow, so beautiful really take good care of your garden. Thank you for sharing all this info. Enjoy your day. Stay safe and God bless.🙏💕👍🌏
Hey G ... Did you say 20 years ago? Wow, I wasn't even thinking of growing any type of fruit tree 20 years old .. Amazing collection of citrus .. Cool Tour /conversation Have a great week
Yes sir it was nearly that long ago that I first visited Stan when I was super hooked on hardy citrus and getting everything planted out in my yard. Much appreciated for dropping by. So far so good this week. I've been hearing about the triple digit heat in some parts of Florida. My goodness!
I wasn't familiar with Stan before this video, but I'm a StanFan now. ☺️ I love his enthusiasm! Mixed with his experience and knowledge - wow! Love the music at 13:33! 😂 Now I want a Prague Chimera! 😎 Super interesting video, G! Thanks so much for sharing!
Haha thanks about the glorious music! Prague is definitely one for people who are outside the typical citrus growing zones. Super thank you to you Kim for watching! Stay cool :)
@Sandwichking-hikes probably a great time to go right now when the some of citrus are ripening. I'm glad you were able to stop by his place. Thanks a lot for watching!
Thanks so much for this video! You solved my problem of whether to buy a lime tree and pot it up or go with a cold hardy, good tasting lime substitute like Thomasville. So Thomasville is my solution to getting a lime tasting ,cold hardy,in- ground citrus tree that that meets my needs here in east central Tenn! Muchas gracias, amigo!
Salt of the earth fellow for sure. If it wasn't for him, his enthusiasm for citrus/plants and the Southeastern Citrus Expo so many people would have missed out on lots of knowledge. Thanks a bunch CJ for watching 👀 🙏
I think I have about 10 citrus trees from Stan's farm. His collection seems to keep growing. A lot of people take up golf for exercise as they get older, but walking around a small citrus and tropical fruit tree farm to see what's growing would be more fun.
I also have a good number of trees from him. I admire his never ending dedication to citrus and his farm. I too see myself continuing to fiddle around with my trees all day vs anything else. I cannot seem to get into golfing at all lol
Nice sharing beautiful farm amazing plants ☘️
