Each radar has distance limit. this one can check the enemies radar site without flying near the radar's range but anything can happen in the actual war scenario with new radar technology. that's why they are upgrading the system often. Russia's war machine is mainly for defensive purpose, while US/NATO is always offensive so you can guess why Russia needs to upgrade their system. Note that US F-35 does the same and F-22 has more range than SU-57. SU-57's Front Radar vs F-22's all-round radar. Depends who checks who first and missile they carry. F-22 used in many combats so its on top list.
@Ki Arun why we should do that? Russia is not our enemy. There is already tested radars out there. For inventing such tech needs lots of years and budget, by that time other countries will upgrade their system. we should not spend time and money on "you have, we will have our own too". India and Russia already developing many in defense sectors. The famous BrahMos missile (*Brah*maputra of India and the *Mos*kva of Russia) is joint development of India-Russia.
@@GPSwamy there's no aircraft which is completely stealthy every aircraft has some stealth capabilities even Rafale has stealth capabilities. Don't get confused you're talking about stealth made aircraft and I'm talking about aircrafts with stealth capabilities. Even F-22 and F-35 can be detected using IR or heat seeking missiles because of the exhaust plumes from the aircraft and electronic signals from the cockpit.

But most of you guys don't know about YF-23 Balck widow and Grey ghost it's superior than F-22 and F-35 in many aspects but due to some political reasons USAF F-22 va choose pannitanga.
