While the use of Add-ins is good, your scenario is not. By giving the plug-in, you have revealed the rate of commission so why not just give the commission rate? Adding a fourth column to the table with the formula `=[@Commission]/[@[Total Sales]]` will give you the rate.
Now, distributing as an Add-in will ensure no typos by employees and having the Add-in saved to the cloud will allow updating for everyone without redistributing the file.

I agree with your concern, Sir. There will always be a way to figure out commission percentage if you know the Total Sales. But by sharing a plugin instead of handing out the numbers, at best, looks a little elegant and safe. Don't you think?
