A top effort, esp with all the filming! Cabbage tree creek is a great oasis that feels like wilderness, with so little civilization visible from the roads. I've not been as far up as you, just about 7 crossings beyond the LL link break. Pushing my loaded bike up that was a workout!

Thanks for sharing this - we recently hiked from mt Nebo to middle cabbage tree rd via lightline and back via creek/augies. I’d seen the rock pools on google maps and decided to check them out. We loved the remoteness of the pools!
Would love to do a car shuffle and check out the entire length of middle cabbage break from Fernlands break to lake Manchester - looks like there would be some amazing spots!

Brilliant mate! What a fantastic place, wish I could have come along. Will definitely have to do that one together sometime. There's also Blue Gum Flat Camp further down Cabbage Tree Creek. Worth a look! Hope the move is going well. ATB Jason.

i love seeing what goes on under the water. Those rainbows were really cool but those big fish were really impressive. Im going to check out middle cabbage tree creek one day so hopefully i can find and film some of them too!

Thank you for the Google Earth screenshot. I was trying to follow you on the South D'Aguilar section topographical map. I've walked up Middle Cabbage Tree Creek Road a few times. Like you, I found a waterhole on Google Earth and "went there". It looks like the one at 25:40 in your video. (S27 26.365 E152 47.218)
I've also struggled up Light Line Link Break. Seems anything with "break" in the name is a killer.
Going to have to try out that Back Country Cuisine also. Those packets will be a lot less hassle than tins.
    Happy hiking,
    Richard

I agree .the word break is short for break your spirit. ha ha 😲😎
some of the dehydrated meals are pretty good as long as you give them time to re -hydrate.learnt that lesson.
