On the discussion of all the groups in magic. It's one of my favorite things about this game. You can have hyper specific desires and still find a community of people who are into the same stuff and want to help you complete your decks.
The Gathering.
Emrakul was under a leyline binding, but doesn't it have protection from colored spells? Maybe I missed a dress down or something....
Yes, emrakul has protection from spells that are one or more colors.
Can anyone confirm if the players just missed this?
Permanents on the battlefield are not spells.
@90sMTG I appreciate it, Chris. Keep the videos comin!
@90sMTG We'll I'll be. Thanks, Chris.
ive seen a few lists have back to nature, seems like a good fit at least as a one of in the board
Could work!
11:31: Why could Alec cast Leyline Binding? The Landtypes were U and G which means there was only a Tropical Island laying on the board which he tapped obviously to cast a spell from hand…
Leyline Binding costs 6 Mana Minus 1 for each landtyp. That means 3 Mana including at least one white mana.
He put it in for free off the show and tell
It may have entered with Show and Tell.
2 question for sneak & show:
1) when you go in side to put in defence gride... do you remove from the deck, fow or any other counters?
2) i saw S&S in UR and URg versions... what are the differences in this URW version?
For the question 1, I’m not a s&s player, but I believe that defence grids go in against fair blue decks and you definitely don’t side out force there. Maybe they trim on some combo pieces, e.g. omniscience and/or emrakuls, probably depends on the exact matchup.
Unsure about sideboarding for SNS. But defense grid protects your combo cards from interaction. The version with white ran Teferi and cards like Leyline of Sanctity.
Recently got the 3mrqkul secret lair because it was cheaper for those 4 cards than an actual emrakul
I have only bought a few, but Secret Lairs have felt like good deals. -Chris
@@90sMTG definitely, although i would have bought the Godzilla lands if they had more than just 1 of each type
Game 2 was a blast
This was a fun match for sure.
