@@br4nd0nll hezi cares more about offense. He says it all the time. But both of them on offense are great. Nitty on the other hand has great defense along with that offense. And it showed in this 1v1. Hezi takes pride in offense and don’t care about defense much. They both great hoopers though.

I say it all the time. I love Hezi's Tyreke Evans handle, but he is not beating anybody who takes just as much pride in their defense as he does on offense. Frank's a pro. I imagine this would be what it would look like if Skip played Hot Sauce 1v1 back then.
One thing I’ve noticed about hezi is that the defense basically gives him the left lane and he never takes it. Either he’ll settle for a jumper or he’ll force himself to the right. I feel like he needs to work on that.

His talent and perspective on the game is truly that of a great leader..he works hard, likes to be challenged and has great sportsmanship. Always gives credit where credit is due to those around him. Great Match Up! loved the game and the love for the game shows through and the respect they have for each other is so apparent, Nitty has always been one of my fav hoopers to watch, I love his style his talking his skills and the respect he shows to not just the people he plays against but to the game of streetball. Hesi is also one of my favs to watch cause he cares about the game he loves what he does, its just awesome to watch to legends have a legit fair, (no one calling fouls every second like some of these 1v1's) was a pleasure to watch.
First game Hezi initiates contact and then gets blocked. Next okay in defense he’s grabbing all over Nitty and then tells the ref that’s how he’s been guarded all game lmfao. Hezi never fails to seem like a wimp to me.

The things is, hezi's handles won't beat anyone who plays actual defense. If he is playing someone who actually knows how to play ball and defense, he always gon lose wether it's a 1 on 1 or a team game. Hezi just uses his body to create little to none seperation and get off with a lucky shot or either a brick. It's a dfferent story tho when he is driving, he uses that body well and can adjust to get his shot up. I have nothing to say about nitty, nitty a pro and knows how to always play the game, 1 on 1's or 5's he always plays good. Nitty been a drew league mvp, played with nba players, been to big3, nba/g league showed interest with him and now he just destroying streetballers with west squad who has ton of talents as well.
Hezi cant go left and has no left hand. Frank played him correctly, sitting on his right side and forcing him left. Hezi then toe taps 10 times before jacking up an ugly 3.
anyone who knows how to play defense? theres a reason athletes and length are heavily scouted for the NBA. you can know how to play defense and at the end of the day if a guy is longer, quicker and more athletic it doesnt matter much. Put Chris whites guy greg "45" on Hezi and hes toast and the man has played in the G League and professionally...... Nitty is longer and more athletic than Hezi and it shows. In reality you could make a legitimate arguement that Hezi is slightly more skilled offensively but because of the gap in athleticism Nitty has an easier time.
Yup if someone plays proper defense all he got is hoping that his stepback jumper falls, and that rarely goes in when he is under pressure and his energy is dropping. If you play him correctly you force him left and pressure him hard enough so he will fall in love shooting contested shots instead of driving. He always does that, you can see it in the Friga matchup and you see it here too. Once he realizes the other guy can do something about his drive he won't be comfortable to make use of it often. Difference between Friga and Nitty is that Nitty defends well, Friga does not :) That sequence in second game at 7-2 Hezi when Nitty complains that refs did a poor job shows this well. Hezi seems to have him beat, but Nitty recovers quickly, then moves parallel to Hezi without impeding him but still close up to him, and contesting and even blocking his shot, without pushing into him. Clean defense, no foul at all, just great recovery and foot speed and discipline to not overreact on the recovery.

If you are at a high lvl and have great D most of the time you’d heat hezi bc his Inability to go left consistently and lack of defense on skilled opponents. I get what you’re saying about size and stuff but even if frank was hezis size he would still wash him , his bag deeper and defense Iq is even better . You can tell when hezi is stuck and he scrambles to the 3 point line or tries to shoulder you in the paint .
I agree Nitty is the Best All Around Player than any Member of the Balls for life Team, and his endurance, skill set,accuracy, work ethic speak for itself. Nitty should be trying out for the G League unless he's doesn't wanna compete on a Higher level,because I definitely would.
