My Testimony - I grew up in church all my life. My sophomore year of high school I got into drugs and alcohol. Led to becoming homeless my senior year. Also was in a relationship full of witchcraft for over a year. The lord has delivered me from it all
I am a Christian but for years I lost my faith and lately I find myself suicidal. Today I woke up with hope again, and this song is helping me calm my heart. I realized that only Jesus can heal me. Thank you Jesus. The light in the darkness, that is who you are. ❤
You are in tribulation and being trained essentially. Make it easy by working on relaxing through it. This is. part of the mastery. So although it might not seem like it. You are being shape by the most high and ITS ABSOLUTELY A GOOD THING that you are being tested and shaped. Congratulations on that bit 🙂
The Lord showed me some time ago that if you ever find yourself drifting away even to the point of faithlessness, never lose the trust that God is a good God and has unshakable love for you even when you feel nothing! That will be enough to preserve you until to can come up for air spiritually speaking!
Me too!! I have discovered this also. It is very hard to keep this in my heart 24/7, but in the afflictions when I cry out to Him, His Spirit leads my heart back to the Truth, and He fills me with His love, and joy and peace again, and hope. He is only good, only righteous and very much “set apart” or Holy. Thank You for the Blood You she’d for us Jesus, to blot out our sins, and the sins of our household.

This supernaturally reaches me at the point in my wilderness season where I am asking the LORD where are YOU. It feels like just when my head is above the water line then I get dragged down again. The wilderness season is not fun, but this message makes me smile again.

NO, IT IS NOT BRILLIANT To say such things to believers that believers are NOT being punished or disciplined by GOD or they are not suffering some kind of judgement for their wrong actions, it may be they are sowing and not reaping, but know the word of God Jermaine, what did Jesus Christ Himself say? John 5:14 “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you. Pastors or fact believer who wants to pray for someone healing or deliverance should ALWAYS pray if there is any sin in their life please lead them to repentance and mercy for them....among other prayer for healing..Hebrews 10 vs 10 to 26 a warning against wilful sin...people who KNOW something is sin but worry about repentance later or just think they can cherry pick parts of the bible to obey. WE ARE NOT saved by OUR WORKS,..its is GODS GRACE who gives us any position of justification or righteousness, we have NO rigteousness of any kind but by and THROUGH HIM...so we should be leading lives to seek living THE WAY and THIS is why it says in James 5 also that a FERVENT EFFECTUAL PRAYER OF A "RIGHTEOUS" person.....avails....much....we must FIRST fear GOD...that is LOVE of God....WORK OUR YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING....and not because He is some mean God ready to harm people if they get out of line...HE IS JUST, HE IS MERCIFUL, HE IS PERFECT, so any judgement he does allow is not because God is mean.....so....any situation where a believer is struggling or suffering something...should always be met with....are we sowing or reaping? I was just telling someone last 16 Aug 2022, that when I am going through a rough time I go further away from God because I feel He is not with me so I have to take things into my own hands. Hi, it is terrific to be excited about God and learning His ways and thoughts. When you teach the children scriptures, teach them how to test every teaching with scriptures to know that it is agreement with God's Word. Teach them the importance of reading scriptures in context as many do use one verse and make a teaching on it. When they learn how to read the whole chapter on a verse the full meaning is open to the studying of scriptures.This is called reading scriptures in context.

Wow I went thru a very dark sad trial and I had questioned God's presence and His word .I also quoted His word and promises by faith with a heart that felt empty of faith.. I HAD to believe His word was true no matter what it looked like The faithfulness of God is amazing the light has come slowly broke thru. Now believing He WILL use it all for His glory !! Pastor John, thank you for insight. Pastor Mathew for being the steadfast man you have become. I recall your struggles and look what the Lord has done. Then Laurie for your testimony & faithful compassion stating the Bible is a tangible gift for us to cling to. For peace, healing and all He offers. I’ve come to see a few things He’s said too directly to me bed tethered in peripheral nerve pain. ‘Don’t complain.’ And ‘Be still & know I am God.’ Well He told me I’d be healed with faith and physical therapy he’d too provide and He did. Just 2 days prior to my doc appt. 1/18/22. She announced; “We can no longer give Vicadin for chronic pain.” I’d cut them down from 4-3, but Never a day of therapy even when I asked. This time she agreed, even my physiodiatrist giving spinal injections got me 24x, an MRI, injection and 15x visits. Today off all but two muscle relaxers and finishing therapy in Sept. Now to gain strength. You’ve all so much encouraged me. Yes, He has a destiny for me as well. All of you, parents Pastor Crouch have been an inspiration for me, now 66. The best is yet to come. At 6 my Grandpa told us, “Jesus will come in your lifetime. Be ready, keep your eyes on the sky for your generation will not pass away before his coming.” Born 1889, saw Son’s n Son in law go to war. But the thrill was in 1948, when Israel became a state. That changed things to believers back then. He died in 1964 at age 74. Deacon, farmer,(40 acres-539) in his lifetime. From Ireland. Fed the poor n gave jobs during the depression. God fearing. “Thank You Lord for allowing me to be right here. Joan.”
John Bevere says "Complaining is saying straight to God's face like I don't like what You're doing....." and that is so true, even when we are just thinking it. That is the time to say inwardly as well, "I'm sorry God, I am just not happy about this situation but You are always right, and I know it- please forgive me for complaining, even though no one but You can hear me."

Shortly after I got saved God gave me a dream/vision and He told me to grab a pen and paper and write this down; “I Am here for your guidance, your character, and your name. Then shortly before I went into the desert He spoke to my heart and said “I will never leave you or forsake you.”

I'm grateful that I heard that great learning experience in the wilderness, I've been in the wilderness for some time now, how ever im learning to stop complaining about my short comings in life, I'm happy in the lord everyday, the Joy of the lord is in me, thank you Jesus! The vision was amazing and I realized I wasted so much time. I am not wasting anymore time. The Lord had me watch this today to remind me I am not alone. I am in a struggle now to be close to him and get prepared for something. I am not complaining again just sit in his presence is an honor and to give him Glory is where I want to be. Third time fighting cancer. This time advanced Stage IV metastatic. Dealing with side effects of treatments. Been depressed even though I'm sure He'll heal me again. God injected this into my bedtime worship play list tonight. He gave me what I needed....again. My new anthem! I'm going to wait on you Lord!!
Love your attitude! It inspires me to have the same attitude toward my own dire circumstance. May God's healing hand be upon you. In Jesus Mighty Name I cry out to God in your behalf. Instead of cancer I speak can-SURVIVE because He said in Exodus 15:26: I am the Lord that healeth thee. And in Isaish 53:5: Your Word says, With your stripes we are healed." So help this friend in Christ to have a total recovery.
Such a word for me. I am 54, and I really struggle with where my place is in ministry. For reasons I can't justify or explain, I have been unable to use this one gift that is my passion. I have not understood why...why Lord do the doors constantly slam close, every time? But I see that this is a time of testing for me, how will I react, and will I be obedient. It's hard because I just feel rejected over and over, but I need to leave it in His hands and submit, and be faithfully obedient.Thank you!
You are not alone, Kim. Im 66 and still believing God will fulfill his call to be doing children's ministry. Im the church admin assistant and constantly being verbally abused by the children's director whose passion is NOT children. Oops. Yes im murmuring. I'm 56 and turned to Jesus about 18 months ago, I felt I was being led to mission work and dove in head first and experienced some very bad situations which made me question my self and my faith ,I felt like I was being pulled away from God,I cry often and I just kept pushing forward regardless of how I felt and everyday I think about what he has done for me and how I am a completely changed man from who I was only 2 years ago ,that is what keeps me going is remembering what he has already done for me ,I have found that being humble is the key ,not letting pride take over my thoughts ,praise the Lord Jesus Christ ,God bless 🙏
Thank you so much for your teaching, John. It has truly touched me - it speaks to the very core of my soul.. When I became a born again Christian in 2006, I remember myself having a discussion with the Lord, where I questioned Him on a very debilitating issue, and the Holy Spirit replied saying, "I am refining you." For a while after this, I was constantly reminded of this declaration - I'd see it written everywhere or hear it in preachings... It was so intense, I thought I was losing my mind. My circumstances have become so complicated. Just as Laurie said, it's one devastating thing happening after another. The more I've prayed and expressed my faith the more attacks I've had; it just never ends. Whenever I'm in deep dispair, I recall the story of Joseph. It's such a source of encouragement. I dare say that I have been in the wilderness for many years, maybe 10 - not just 18 months...
Thank you brother John, now I know why my "wilderness" is so, so long I was a murmurer and a complainer for many years, untill the Lord brought (1 Cor.10:10-11) (Rom.15:4) to my attention

Fantastic book and we still use them in my churches Apostolic Bible School of Ministry. They are both timeless books!

This was enlightening. I wish I knew this at the beginning of my journey. I get it now. God revealed what I could handle and most importantly understand when I was ready but in the beginning I was like God what is going on. I reached out to ministry leaders...dead end very generic no time type "help" to say the least. When I finally ask God to reveal himself it was then he begin to open my spiritual eyes of what was happening. He also put me in a bible group and when I tell you my eyes opened so did my mind body and soul. Stay encouraged and seek a personal relationship with Jesus and he will show you the way. Just surrender. God bless you on your journey. Hold fast it's going to be a challenging ride but keep in mind God knows what's best either way.

1 Peter 1:6-7 So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold-though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.

This supernaturally reaches me at the point in my wilderness season where I am asking the LORD where are YOU. It feels like just when my head is above the water line then I get dragged down again. The wilderness season is not fun, but this message makes me smile again.

NO, IT IS NOT BRILLIANT To say such things to believers that believers are NOT being punished or disciplined by GOD or they are not suffering some kind of judgement for their wrong actions, it may be they are sowing and not reaping, but know the word of God Jermaine, what did Jesus Christ Himself say? John 5:14 “See, you have been made well. Sin no more, lest a worse thing come upon you. Pastors or fact believer who wants to pray for someone healing or deliverance should ALWAYS pray if there is any sin in their life please lead them to repentance and mercy for them....among other prayer for healing..Hebrews 10 vs 10 to 26 a warning against wilful sin...people who KNOW something is sin but worry about repentance later or just think they can cherry pick parts of the bible to obey. WE ARE NOT saved by OUR WORKS,..its is GODS GRACE who gives us any position of justification or righteousness, we have NO rigteousness of any kind but by and THROUGH HIM...so we should be leading lives to seek living THE WAY and THIS is why it says in James 5 also that a FERVENT EFFECTUAL PRAYER OF A "RIGHTEOUS" person.....avails....much....we must FIRST fear GOD...that is LOVE of God....WORK OUR YOUR OWN SALVATION WITH FEAR AND TREMBLING....and not because He is some mean God ready to harm people if they get out of line...HE IS JUST, HE IS MERCIFUL, HE IS PERFECT, so any judgement he does allow is not because God is mean.....so....any situation where a believer is struggling or suffering something...should always be met with....are we sowing or reaping? Hi, it is terrific to be excited about God and learning His ways and thoughts. When you teach the children scriptures, teach them how to test every teaching with scriptures to know that it is agreement with God's Word. Teach them the importance of reading scriptures in context as many do use one verse and make a teaching on it. When they learn how to read the whole chapter on a verse the full meaning is open to the studying of scriptures.This is called reading scriptures in context.

Wow I went thru a very dark sad trial and I had questioned God's presence and His word .I also quoted His word and promises by faith with a heart that felt empty of faith.. Pastor John, thank you for insight. Pastor Mathew for being the steadfast man you have become. I recall your struggles and look what the Lord has done. Then Laurie for your testimony & faithful compassion stating the Bible is a tangible gift for us to cling to. For peace, healing and all He offers. I’ve come to see a few things He’s said too directly to me bed tethered in peripheral nerve pain. ‘Don’t complain.’ And ‘Be still & know I am God.’ Well He told me I’d be healed with faith and physical therapy he’d too provide and He did. Just 2 days prior to my doc appt. 1/18/22. She announced; “We can no longer give Vicadin for chronic pain.” I’d cut them down from 4-3, but Never a day of therapy even when I asked. This time she agreed, even my physiodiatrist giving spinal injections got me 24x, an MRI, injection and 15x visits. Today off all but two muscle relaxers and finishing therapy in Sept. Now to gain strength. You’ve all so much encouraged me. Yes, He has a destiny for me as well. All of you, parents Pastor Crouch have been an inspiration for me, now 66. The best is yet to come. At 6 my Grandpa told us, “Jesus will come in your lifetime. Be ready, keep your eyes on the sky for your generation will not pass away before his coming.” Born 1889, saw Son’s n Son in law go to war. But the thrill was in
1948, when Israel became a state. That changed things to believers back then. He died in 1964 at age 74. Deacon, farmer,(40 acres-539) in his lifetime. From Ireland. Fed the poor n gave jobs during the depression. God fearing.

Such a word for me. I am 54, and I really struggle with where my place is in ministry. For reasons I can't justify or explain, I have been unable to use this one gift that is my passion. I have not understood why...why Lord do the doors constantly slam close, every time? But I see that this is a time of testing for me, how will I react, and will I be obedient. It's hard because I just feel rejected over and over, but I need to leave it in His hands and submit, and be faithfully obedient.Thank you!

Im the church admin assistant and constantly being verbally abused by the children's director whose passion is NOT children. Oops. Yes im murmuring. I'm 56 and turned to Jesus about 18 months ago, I felt I was being led to mission work and dove in head first and experienced some very bad situations which made me question my self and my faith ,I felt like I was being pulled away from God,I cry often and I just kept pushing forward regardless of how I felt and everyday I think about what he has done for me and how I am a completely changed man from who I was only 2 years ago ,that is what keeps me going is remembering what he has already done for me ,I have found that being humble is the key ,not letting pride take over my thoughts ,praise the Lord Jesus Christ ,God bless 🙏
Thank you so much for your teaching, John. It has truly touched me - it speaks to the very core of my soul.. When I became a born again Christian in 2006, I remember myself having a discussion with the Lord, where I questioned Him on a very debilitating issue, and the Holy Spirit replied saying, "I am refining you." For a while after this, I was constantly reminded of this declaration - I'd see it written everywhere or hear it in preachings... It was so intense, I thought I was losing my mind. My circumstances have become so complicated. Just as Laurie said, it's one devastating thing happening after another. The more I've prayed and expressed my faith the more attacks I've had; it just never ends. Whenever I'm in deep dispair, I recall the story of Joseph. It's such a source of encouragement. I dare say that I have been in the wilderness for many years, maybe 10 - not just 18 months...
Thank you brother John, now I know why my "wilderness" is so, so long I was a murmurer and a complainer for many years, untill the Lord brought (1 Cor.10:10-11) (Rom.15:4) to my attention

This was enlightening. I wish I knew this at the beginning of my journey. I get it now. God revealed what I could handle and most importantly understand when I was ready but in the beginning I was like God what is going on. I reached out to ministry leaders...dead end very generic no time type "help" to say the least. When I finally ask God to reveal himself it was then he begin to open my spiritual eyes of what was happening. He also put me in a bible group and when I tell you my eyes opened so did my mind body and soul. Stay encouraged and seek a personal relationship with Jesus and he will show you the way. Just surrender. God bless you on your journey. Hold fast it's going to be a challenging ride but keep in mind God knows what's best either way.
