So many memories made in this episode! I remember Old Maid, Go Fish, Pick up sticks and the knitting spool from my childhood many years ago and I am nearly 70. Great spot to camp

We camped there quite a few years ago and a wombat used the caravan step to scratch his back!
Good bass there .Favorite spot to go camping as a Young bloke. Use to have fires and it was an unknown. A few years back some flogs decided to get drunk and run over a stack of wombats. They nearly shut the place down.

Wombats are absolutely adorable & one of my many favourite Australian animals. Living in Australia as a kid I never got to see a wild Wombat. My parents used to watch a tv show when we lived there, can’t remember what it was called but it had a friendly Wombat in the show & id watch purely for this Wombat. Great job with the cake kiddo’s, yup that’s how to do it Jack🫣😆. Another great vlog, love to you all from Scotland.

Fantastic episode, I remember old maid n go fish from mine n my kids childhoods. A great simple game. Fun fact wombats have square poo to mark their territory. Try feeding the owls some stripsvof meat instead of bacon, as the brine is no good for them

Wow used to play old maid when I was a kid….and pickup sticks loved that one and also knucklebones, yes was a tawny frogmouth sitting on the fence.

Great episode. oh you should have turned the cake into lemon drizzle😉. The Old Maid card game our parents use to play that over 90 ago...( it goes back to the 1880's+) We think the Wombats crapped in Chris's shoe's so he could see it and not step in it!! 🤣. Take care from the UK x

Yes. That is a Tawny Frogmouth. Bacon is probably not the best thing to feed it (or any native bird). A tiny portion (like a pinch) of mince might be better if you find yourself in that situation in future.
Some say not to feed wildlife at all for fear of them becoming too dependent on us, but I think it is an important part of us remaining connected to nature around us. Just do it in moderation.
We have old mad in our van
My boss lives down there, went down for the weekend and did a kayak down the river. One of the best days… the bridge you drive over is the starting point for the paddle, and you come out at your campground.
Sad fact…. The rocks in the camp ground are there because some moron killed a bunch of wombats one night by running them over.
If there is a camp out here, it will be awesome. Kayak down the river! When you paddle down the river, there are wombats along the bank. There are a number of kayak places in town who hire out.
Was going to warn you about Drop Wombats, but too late they already
