GT produces better racing than F1 on this track
Yeah people were passing at pont and there was always passing at signes and even beausset. Still think they should reprofile pont and the entire first sector: make it fast and tighten up camp corner for more overtaking, and adjust the entry into the mistral chicane to allow for cars to go side-by-side by creating a bit of a lip on the inside to hook the inside car.
GT racing has always been better because they can afford to trade paint. Single-seaters are just too delicate and fall apart with the smallest of touches.
I hope the 2021 French GP would be better

LOVE this race category. It's so great to see poster cars up against one another in wheel to wheel racing. As a Porsche fan I'd rather watch this than Carrera Cup as I feel invested in the outcome in a way I can't be in a one-make series. Great stuff!
Genuinely surprised at how there was almost no yellow flags almost as surprised as how badly the Mercedes fared this race with all those tyre problems
@@ninetenduh So the only real purpose for yellow flags are to recover disabled vehicles such as the no.2 getspeed mercedes here?

63 deserved to win but good job salvaging 3rd even though it had to be through a time penalty for the car actually finishing in that spot

How did #63 get P3 in the end? They were overtaken on the last lap for P4.
The #71 Ferrari in P2 got a 10 second time penalty for a pit-stop infringement. Basically it had some bodywork damage on the rear left, you're only allowed to have 4 pit crew members working on the car outside the garage, and they broke that rule when they were taping the hanging bodywork back together.
Definitely a great race.... with no audience... strange. At the same time in Indianapolis the Indy 500 with thousands of viewers at the track. Think by yourself 🤔
Just because the US does it, it does not have to be the best way of doing things. Many countries in Europe are opening up again but it still take some time until everything is back to normal.
