When I went to Cadott for the Chippewa music festival, which Carrie was performing. It was in a field and where I was Carrie look so small, that looking at the big screen was easier to watch Carrie.
I think that is why American Idol has finally runs it course. Because they kept saying finding the next superstar like Carrie. Carrie is rare find. Carrie has the natural raw singing power. American Idol just opened the door for her. And they trying to feed off of that. Carrie just showed off her power on American Idol. And she didn't use full strength during that either. No other contestant had her power. First time, she showed off her full power to everybody was, when she duet with Jamie O'Neal on that duets special.
***** VH1 is more pop-oriented channel. They only did that special, because lot of her songs, crossover into pop charts. Actually, that is where Billboard, first place all over her songs, when first won American Idol, it was supposed to be a pop competition. Carrie threw that plan out the window. VH1 and Billboard got such a backlash until put Carrie's song onto country charts.
***** Carrie can adjusted to any venue with her vocals. Which is why she is so dang good. Carrie has that advantage over other singers. And she adjust so subtle to it.
I think everybody is anxiously waiting for Carrie to release her fifth album. Because "Something In The Water" and this song "Little Toy Guns" are just teaser for Carrie's fans. But what teasers.

A normal performance by Carrie. Is why the musical break, Carrie is taking right now. Isn't going to hurt her at all. Not many artists can out perform her. And no other artist want to replace her. If Carrie had badly injured herself during the "Storyteller" tour. Fans just postponed and we will wait for Carrie to get back.
Amazing performance - power, lyrics, grace = Carrie is already a legend. She had better get her vocals awards this year --- its crazy that she has been shut out for 5-6 years -- such a rigged industry to that other Texas girl

Carrie is the reason, there aren't a lot of female on the top of the charts in the music industry. Not because she is a diva. Actually, she wishes there were more females upper part of the music charts. The reason, there isn't a lot. Is because they want the next female singer to possess the power Carrie has. And is difficult to find, Carrie has natural raw power. And if a female singer, who still a teenager starts singing halfway decent. People want that singer to have the power right away. Carrie had that rare power before she was on Idol. Most young singers don't have that type of power then.
Why do media do that. They keep asking all of the young artists come out in country artists to take over the music industry. Give them time in the industry before asking them to challenge establish artists like Carrie or Miranda or Martina.

She was exercising as much as she could while she was pregnant. So, she kept in shape during pregnancy. So, she didn't have much weight to take off after she gave birth.
