I've watched your videos and they are great. Thanks so much for posting them. I just bought my Elna eXpressive 860 and it came with the DVD to use Stitch Composer EX. When I installed it, the grid part of the screen is bowed. Hard to explain. The horizontal lines of the grid are completely horizontal, but the vertical lines are bowed. The rest of the application looks fine. Any Ideas. It make is hard to see how to make the pattern.
Yes, and I thought that I mentioned it in the first video about Stitch Composer, sorry that I must not have. The early versions of Stitch Composer have the bowed grid. Janome designer’s said it was supposed to mimic the curve of the F and F2 decorative Stitch feet, crazy as that may sound. I remember well that it takes some getting used to when you use the program! Just try to pretend that those vertical lines are straight, not curved!
The HLS came on a CD with the machine purchase. If your machine is the version 3 Quiltmaker with the pink bar under the screen the HLS with the machine was the most recent one. But if your machine is an older machine model with either turquoise or silver under the screen those machines had to be upgraded by a dealer. The dealer was responsible for telling Janome who then emailed a link to upgrade HLS. The update was never a publicly shared update and the HLS program was never available on a public site. @@faviolamartinezsewdigitizing I got the transfer from computer to machine figured but I need the design from layout to machine or USB????? I do not know what I am missing to figure this out.....any help would be appreciated Faviola. Thank you
@@nancybrennan67 please give me a little more information about exactly what you’re doing and I will reply. For example are you really doing a layout for several hoopings etc

It may even help to turn the grid off in the view so the curves don’t bother you!
where is the original Horizon Link Suite? Where can I download and then upgrade?????HELP
