I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the family's name is pronounced "Grove...ner" or "Grawv....ner". The "s" is silent.

I always thought it would e some oil rich middle eastern family that own london.
At the very least you could have got the pronunciation of the name write, 'half of london' ridiculous and not true - mayfair and the west end maybe, half of london simply not true.
