on such a day it is hard not to remember Cornelia Wilhelmina Maria (Cora) Baltussen (born January 19, 1912 in Driel, died November 18, 2005) - a Dutch sister of the Red Cross who took care of Polish paratroopers of the 1st Independent Parachute Brigade. Her many years of efforts allowed for the commemoration and honoring of the deed of the Polish paratroopers, as well as General Stanisław Sosabowski himself. Cora maintained contact with veterans throughout the entire time, who considered her the “mother of the brigade.”
Bedankt Poolse en Engelse strijders! 💪❤️
Dobrze, że transmisja jest dostępna dla każdego na youtube, bo w TVP chyba nie... Chwała, pamięć i szacunek bohaterom.
