It's a nice house they make here. Good binding technique and excellent imagination. But it's a shame if the mud just rains off and the wood just rots over time. A permanent building is nevertheless made of stone and cement (or concrete).
The ladies love watching these vids but most of us know they are only temporary structures still using blade and stick is impressive and to the lads "keep doing it your way and good luck"
After watching this video I now after 55 years have realized that the producers and set design of "Gilligan's Island" really *"Dropped the Ball"* because this is what the "Howells'" island hut should have looked like.
I just sat here shocked at how well these two men worked together like a well oiled machine and straight up built a house out of, well, nature! And no small little mud hut mind you. What happens to all these projects after they are built? Does anyone use them or do they just sit there?
I hope to god not. This house isn't livable. The wood structure is wobbly and unstable, and the mud is just mud; it will all wash away in a good downpour.

Bello lo stile victoriano della costruzione.....per la rifinitura molto scadente in torno alle finestre manca una bordatura lavorata, i balconi ok le colonnine ma sopra un corimano quadrato no rotondo sembra un tubo mancano tocchi di completamento sembra abbandonata a meta' lavoro ......mi dispiace perche la struttura iniziale prometteva un finale bellissimo....invece ....no.....incompleto grazie scusate il commento negativo
great labor of love effort, looks pretty cool, great team effort, but not very long lasting... i suspect in 2-4 years the foundation will rot, and probably a lot more.... what happens when heavy rains and wind blow against the exposed mud walls and foundations????.... what happens to a mud roof when it rains??.... these videos are an insult to true primitive building actually, so fantasy like..... so many of these guy's videos are impractical short lived shelters... if i do that much work, i want it to last... i guess they don't mind, if they make all their money off impractical youtube shelter videos, and live in a condo somewhere??? :-)... i wonder how much money per hour they make, might be surprising with these videos being quite popular????
