We need real villains in Pixar and animation in general again! People have forced internal conflicts and villainless stories for too long! There is no reason we cannot have both and switch it up!

in the finale of Buzz Lightyear of Star Command, Zurg (Zeno Z. Lightyear) sacrifices his life to save Buzz from his master, in which he throws the true villain into the chasm, killing the dark lord. When Zurg is dying, Buzz unmasks his father, revealing his true elderly appearance with a scar. Zeno’s ghost appears as the heroes celebrate their victory, proud of his son’s actions.

In Monsters University the villain is Johnny Wortington, the leader of the rival fraternity, not the doyen Hardscrabble, in Finding Dory the closest thing to a villain is the giant squid that appears briefly at the beginning, not Hank and Inside Out, Soul and Elemental technically they have no villain
Jangles the Clown was the closest to a villain. Terry is a true villain.
