It says a lot about Karl that the 3 things he has ever done, that he thinks he needs to atone for are reading someone's mail, putting some putty in someone's hair, and stealing some chocolate bars.
Very interesting definition of "some." He said 7 a week, meaning he was working every day, for 3 years, that's about 1 thousand Mars bars.

One of the things that get me every time is "radio with headlights". Not a radio with lights, cause that would make sense. It's got *headlights*! That and the lady drawing the curtain as he's talking about seeing the wall. "Well, it'll be a surprise then..."
That was a good idea the woman was having her own coffin built while she was alive. That way you can choose what kind of box you want also the type of headstone you'd like by buying it beforehand. That way, you have enough cash left over to leave to loved ones. So the Goverment don't have it

I know I keep watching it and notice new things again and again. The Moaning of Life was brilliant too. Especially the one when he’s got his hair back again 🤭

I’m head over heels 😍 Especially when I found out he originally lived just a ten minute drive away! He just has the exact Mancunian way of thinking and accent as me and my Dad’s side of the family. I hope London doesn’t change him.

Obviously he's grown and changed like we all do but at his core fame did nothing for him and that, I think, endears him to us. Plus he's funny as fook! Can't forget that bit. That's really cool about where he lived and your family etc.

Yeah. The thing is what Karl comes out with can make you think! He's right about the great wall of China. How can it be one of the great wonders of the world if parts of are made of modern day brick? Same about inventing the i-pod and yet the cubicles are open with no door and no toilet paper. Unless of course they removed the toilet doors as a prank!

I love this guy and I relate to some of his circumstances. I’m indigenous and I don’t believe I could eat the “TOAD” either. 🙋🏻♀️👀👍🏽☺️👏🏽 I really appreciate CARL’s determination though. 😂
What is he going on about?! Toads are delicious! Scorpions are really great and a delicacy, I like them crisp ones! Oh and those you called cockroaches are actually cocoons! I know they look creepy but they are very sweet in taste. Delicious!

The Great Wall of China can be visible from the Moon. Newgrange in Ireland is older than the ancient Egyptian Pyramids. The world's wonders! Being a vegan, there's no WAY I could visit these places.

I'm with Karl on most of this, especially scenery. The 7 Wonders of the world aren't really impressive except for the Taj Mahal, Christ the Redeemer and The Great wall of China (but that's just a long wall!!).
The bus thing grosses me out, people would go mad if you did that here lmao

I spent four years working in China in the mid to late 80s and everything you see here is absolutely true (although some things have been modernised). I have eaten a sea slug and our big surprise every week was a shrapnel chicken curry (smashed up chicken with bone pieces in it).

Eh, the eating thing isn't so bad if you've had Chinese food before. It's just that they specifically took Karl places where they would serve up super weird shit. A lot of it is fine (I was a little concerned that it might have been cooked in gutter oil though).
